As a person with anxiety Jimmy I can feel how nervous you were but man you did amazing this was really awesome to see. This is a crazy crazy opportunity love to see Jomboy media continuing to kill it!
Candid chats with at least a few genuine hall of famers here, so cool to see. Wasim talking about how he invented things is great, because he was the pioneer of a whole lot more than that. You did well considering how stressful the environment can be - I've done media on a few smaller cricket games so can only imagine how intense India pak would be.
@@physco4641 I was talking with the Normal Civilized People not the Weard Physcos ....go somewhere else mate and take your medicines 💊💉 on time and follow your Psychiatrist instructions ❤️🩹god bless you and get well soon mate
@@AlisonBurgers40 Try and learn english. It's not psycho. Keeping your username Alison Burgers doesn't make you funny. In reality you are just an internet troll with no life. Also try and learn some humbleness and other great qualities from Wasim Akram.
@@Umeshkumar39682 I don't know anything about cricket, but just having once picked up a newspaper or history book I could hazard a pretty good guess.... (to be clear, the original comment wasn't Jimmy!)
Just casually chatting with Smudge and Punter cool as you like. 🤯 Love this. Happy for you to have had this experience. Wish I’d been able to travel down.
Read this comment before watching the vid and thought, nah, it can’t be that bad. I’m not sure FRIED is even a strong enough adjective for what Jake was experiencing.
I couldn't stop grinning while watching this. I loved when you were getting broadcasting advice from your former boss, and the bowling/pitching convo was a perfect crossover moment. I'm so stoked for you and the JM crew.
When you were on the mic with Ebony, you were at your comfort zone, feel like she did a good job of engaging with you. it was also just the 2 of you, with the 3rd person missing, you were almost forced to learn to swim and that's the best way to learn; sink or swim. you swam jimmy.!
3:35 that has to be the future of sports watching. Let the fans at home watch what they want to watch. You can always cut back to the main program provided feed but how else could a sports package evolve??
IPL (Indian Premier League)(Cricket) has something like this, where you can select multiple camera angles like a camera focused on your favourite player or on the pitch etc. They call it multi cam streaming.
From the original Trashtros scandal video to 1.2 billlion Cricket fans... it's been an amazing ride to have a front row seat on. Congrats Jimmy/Jomboy.
India-Pakistan 6:02 Formed after British divided two countries based on religion before they left. Millions died in migration that time. Later India-Pakistan went to war with each other on several occassions. For a long time Pakistan was under military rule so political talks were worthless. Pakistan still tried their best to get inside Indian borders to destroy peace and attack Indian military or by supporting their problematic people who wants to destroy peace and create terror. All these emotions goes into cricket. It's bigger than hate I think. India even banned from playing series with Pakistan after the Indian team bus got attacked many times in Pakistan and due to terror attack that happened in India similar to US on 26/11. And Pakistan again denied it was their men.
Youve just met some absolute royalty at that game. Just casually chatting with steve smith and ricky. Then left arm swing bowling god Wasim. So jealous. What a day
Jimmy my brother when you were discussing the Different grips of the ⚾🏏ball Mate you were in Company of I swear to God the G.O.A.T He was The King 👑 The Sultan The Wasim Akram😮😮😮😂😂😂❤
Enjoyed your commentary so far Jomboy, i hope your going to continue into the Super 8 stage of the tournament... It was interesting listening to an American in commentary.
15:45 That kid was a Yankees intern who was killed by a drunk driver. Very sad to read his story but also pretty cool he’s immortalized within Yankee Stadium forever with this plaque
What an amazing, hectic day to be a part of. Really interesting look behind the scenes. Obviously, his influence stretches far and wide through all those who watched and learned from him, and the generations who followed, but seeing Wasim Akram, it's also interesting to think how close his specific introduction of those skills still are to the modern game, in that e.g. he will once have had a similar discussion introducing those elements to the Lancashire dressing room for the very first time, and those players in turn will have directly passed them on to the young James Anderson.
@cricketexplained8526 thanks I figured it might have to do with the longer formats, it's definitely interesting to get different takes! In baseball we may get a guest commentator like an old player but that'll usually only be for a half inning. Thank you for explaining :)
Hey. Jimmy. Just watched your breakdown on YES. Excellent explanations. Just a thought. Every 6 balls is an “ over”… I’m guessing it’s because they switch over to the other end. lol. But maybe you could equate that to baseball’s “innings “. Not sure if that helps in any way but keep up the great work you and Jake and everyone are doing…. ( and I’m guessing next time you’ll remember to write “ my” on the cue card😂😂😂)
