I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

Yesterday after watching the Billy Graham Classic, I repented all my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Personal Saviour and Lord. Please pray for me.

I walked in on my father watching intensely, a TV sermon with the Reverend Graham when I was a very small child. It only took that one time for me to be changed immediately. Such a peace was in the small living room that I retain the sense of it still today. Only a short time ago it seems, our little Chihuahua was very sick, and constipated. We, her and I, listened to this sermon that you see here on this video, and I laid my hand on her back as she sat beside me. She was enthralled, and listened to it all. The next morning she went out and was relieved. Since she was okay, I was okay. I love the Reverend Graham sermons, as did my parents, and you will also be changed by watching his sermons.

I gave my heart to God at a Billy Graham revival at Madison Square Garden when I was 13 years old. My commitment to the Lord has grown and although I am far from perfect I praise the Lord and his messenger Billy Graham for the good that is within me.
You ARE perfect! God created you with the Foreknowledge of how His Work will Meet His Expectations. Just because you do not Meet YOUR Expectations in this Secular Reality, doesn't mean you are not perfect Spiritually. Against the popular belief (presented above), God never wastes His Time and Effort creating souls (or anything) beneath His Expectation. He creates beneath YOUR expectation, but not His Own. You are perfect Spiritually.
@@capie44 Scripture tells us that we live within God on earth but are not fully present until we reach heaven itself. God is with us on earth if we accept him but we our flaws are played out just as in the Garden of Eden until we reach our final destination. We start the process of becoming our perfect self upon conception and work at that task throughout our lifetime by accepting the Lord. Our perfect self is then revealed when we reach our new life with the Lord in Heaven. It is, of course, by grace that we are saved but we need that hard work as well.

@@capie44 I was afraid I did not make myself clear. We receive the spark of life at conception. We are born to an imperfect world in which we are challenged and often fail. No matter. The Lord cherishes His creations. In his eyes we are always complete but it is only when we "cross over" that we are made whole. I have lost two children of 4 - one to an auto accident and the other in surgery. I have had visitations from them. I have seen Heaven. It's a long story. When I am in a decision making position I listen to the Holy Spirit.He guides my heart and my soul. It is a glorious warmth. I am an RN and among a number of my accomplishments is that of being a Faith Community Nurse. I went to a seminar recently where the speaker drew me as close to heaven as Billy Graham. She said that behind our physical heart we have a heart space. It is in this heart space that the Holy Spirit resides in each and every one of us. I wept hearing her speak. I have had so many affirmations throughout my lifetime I can hardly contain them. You are one of them.

Hey, I just wanted to remind you that it does not matter what you have done in the past or how many mistakes you have made, Jesus still loves you and wants you to come to Him as you are. God loves you with an indescribable love, and He wants to give you peace and wants to comfort you. He knows all that you have done and all that you have done through, and He still loves you, with an everlasting love. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosever, believeth in Him should perish but have everlasting life." Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior." Go to God in prayer and ask Jesus to come into your life and to make you new. He wants to. He is willing to. He will not cast you away, nor will He reject you. For it is God's desire that all come to repentance and to not perish. He loves you very much and wants to make you new. Go to Him, and He will make you new. Accept Him, and He will change you. Seek Him, and you will find Him. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. Run to Him, and He will never let you go. For it is God's wish and desire to make you new in His Son, and to give you eternal life. Luke 12:32 - "Don't be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom." Jesus loves you. Yes, He really does. And He wants you to be with Him forever. All you have to do is go to Him as you are, and accept Him into your life. And the love He has for you is so great that He gave His only Begotten Son to die on the cross for your sins. To take the punishment for our sins, so we would could be reconciled to Him. He loves you with an everlasting love, and has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. So in all that you do, cling to Him. And He will show you the way. Follow Him, and set your heart on Him, and He will direct your paths and your steps. Seek Him and you will find Him. Give Him your heart and allow Him to guide and lead your life, and everything will go according to His plan. And don't forget that God wants the best for you. For His thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace, not of harm. Jeremiah 29:11 - "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'Plans fo prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God loves you very much. And He wants the best for you. He wants you to be with Him forever. He loves you so much, and wants you to have a relationship with Him. For this is the reason why we were created, and this is our purpose is life. There is nothing in this world that can fill that void in your heart. There is nothing apart from Christ Jesus that can replace and fill that void in your heart. Because that void was meant to be filled by God. He created you for the sole purpose of having a relationship with Him. This is your purpose in life, and this mine, and everyone else's as well. It might seem like it's hard and we at first may be against the idea of us following God and Him guiding and being in control of our lives, because our sinful nature likes to do whatever we want. But when thoughts and doubts like these come, you must remember how much God truly does love you and that He truly does want the best for you. Matthew 6:33 - "But seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added into you." Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the world, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Philipians 4:19 "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." God will take care of you. And He will sustain you along the way. Put your trust in Him, and He will not let you fail. Put your faith in Him, and He will never let you down. For it is written, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." - Isaiah 41:10. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Times may, and will, get tough and you may struggle now and then in certain areas of life, however just remember that God is with you and that He goes before you. And He is ready to help you whenever you come to Him. Whenever you call to Him, whenever you cry out to Him, He will hear you, and He will answer to you. For it is written. "All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved " - Romans 10:13 For Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world." - John 16:33
Don't worry my friend, God loves you. He is with you and goes before you. And He always will be with you, no matter what. So it doesn't matter whatever season you are in or whatever trouble or suffering you go through, God is still there. And He always will be. Even when you get yourself into certain situation or find yourself struggling with something, for example sin, He is there to help you. And He has promised that He always be. He wants to have a relationship with you and wants you to know Him. Seek Him daily and and He will lead you. Call to Him and He will answer. Accept Him and He will change you. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. God loves you very much and wants you to be with Him forever. He wants you to keep close with Him always so He may lead you and guide you.
