A cute mobile bakery in Kyoto, Japan! Bread baked in the kitchen car! 

It's amazing how much stuff is crammed into that cute little van. The van and the stall looks picture perfect, like a drawing from a storybook.

I was not expecting to see so much baking equipment in such a small van, especially that oven. Wow.

I wish them both a long and fulfilling life so they can continue selling bread with love and dedication. Watching this video brings a smile to my face

I've purchased these melon pans several times and all is good. I personally love the maple and chocolate banana. They're always sold warm and even still delicious the next day. The seller is also a nice person and easy to talk to (I'm a foreigner whose Japanese is at just-so-so level). Please try these melon pans if you come across the car in Kyoto! :)

El pan de melón como le dicen en México se llama Concha y es el pan dulce más tradicional, la pasta de azúcar de encima se puede colorear de acuerdo a las festividades, se come con bebida de chocolate caliente o café, de igual forma se puede rellenar de nata, dulce de leche o cajeta, nutella, frijoles machacados con queso fresco, etc. Una delicia al paladar 🥰

The Pan with the criss cross,reminds me of Mexican Pan Dulce, sweet bread but no cream in it. My mom always bought a few pieces for us, my parents had it with coffee and us kids had it with milk as a snack. She always knew when to buy it freshly made at a local Mexican market. Now I want some sweet bread! But everything you have, looks delicious. My mom lives in a mostly Japanese community in Los Angeles county and there’s a few Japanese bakeries, I would love to see what tasty pastries they sell, hopefully I can try melon pan. 😁💖

I used to eat fresh sliced bread with butter and sprinkle white sugar growing up. Never thought of toasting stale bread with butter and sugar.
