if any Hozier song belongs on a dark academia playlist it's "Talk". you guys ever give that one a listen??? most intellectually sexy song I've ever heard.
Just heard that song post your comment, and OMFG LIKE FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! IMAGINE BEING LOVED BY ME? LIKE THAT CHORUS?! THE GREEK MYTHOLGY REFERENCE? JESUS CHRIST THAT'S SO SEXY! SO SEXY! Like this line is my love language, LITERALLY: "So I'll try to talk refined for fear that you find out how I'm imaginin' you." This this this. I love words I love clever I love wit and then post that refinement, going all raw in bed? YES PLEASE!
finally a dark academia playlist that isn't just classical music (not saying that classical music is bad, not at all. it is indeed marvelous and majestic, but people tend to associate it way more with dark academia, and dark academia isn't only that vibe)
i feel delighted, simply delighted listening to this great playlist and leaving everything for the last minute but still successfully completing the bare minimum, i love it.
the picture itself i'm not sure, but if you're looking for the painting it's a medallion representing the triumph of love, painted by Daniel Seghers (the flower crown) and Domenico Zampieri (the actual medallion)
