A short movie we filmed in Traquair House Gardens (a small village in Scotland). This is an ancient forest that goes back hundreds of years.

hey! thanks for watching! I used timeline output blanking in Davinci Resolve for the ratio! The actual video file is still 16:9

Hey, I just use the default settings for Cine4 but decrease sharpness in 4k and saturation slightly in HD and 4k

The video is wonderful. Just out of curiosity, what color space do you select when shooting Cine4? Sgamut? Sgamut.cine? Can you please advise? amazingly done! and is that 35mm for apcs or full frame? I have both the 16mm sigma and 30mm sigma lenses I always get confused becasue the 30mm is actually 56mm on the a6400 😅😅

thanks so much! This is 35mm 1.8 oss so the APSC lens! I wouldn't get too caught up in the tecnical jargon with full frame equivalents etc and just have fun :D

Hey no it doesn't have ibis but you can mitigate this in several ways - oss lenses, gimbal / glide cam, heavier rig to minimise small vibrations. Camera is a beast for 2022, however its just a tool at the end of the day that works hand in hand with lighting, composition, movement and colours

Hey! I would say either the sony 35mm 1.8 or the sigma 30mm f1.4! The 56mm is really good but it's not the most versatile of the two at all but if you like a more compressed background / standing further back then I'd go for the 56mm for sure.
