Big vibes on a day around Bantalona with a Solid team - CJ WELLSMORE, DANNY ALDRIDGE, NICOLA TORELLI, MVG & ALEX HANCOOK Stat tuned for more coming soon!
What a mix of styles, even represented in the wheel setups ;) This video clearly shows that gravity is not working in he same way for Danny as for other ppl!
If anyone wants to try something similar, Justin Thursday has made 3D files freely available so you can try 2x110 with a printed grindblock on Powerslide Trinity frames.
We need more videos like this. ❤ So we have 3 brand pros here, would be really funny to see each ones own edits on this too. Also CJ on big wheels... Cant remember seeing that. 😮
Watching this made me stick to my aeons 80 choice, because I bought them and was worried they would be bad for park riding after years on 50-60mm setups. Amazing content, amazing vibes, amazing people, please make more like this! I've watched this video few times already during this week. Love it!!!!!! (still worried if I should have changed them for 72s, hahha)(it's still snowing here so I couldn't test the park)
Aeon 80s have a teenie h-block, but no reason you can't downsize wheels for better odds. I think Aeon 72 is the sweet spot if you're a skater who likes to do it all. Mushroom Blading have been on the 72s quite a bit recently, and they make it look like they're skating 58s with anti-rockers. Those guys are too good.
@@uu3903 Yes, exactly my thoughts. It's not the H-block what worries me though, it's the higher base, it's much easier to land big spins and jumps on smaller wheels. Anyway, I have my good ol' rollerblades if I decide to concentrate on this sort of stuff, they don't fit 72s, but 60 is fine. Aeon 72's really are appealing, but 80's should be so much smoother of a ride. It's just that I would have to treat them as speed skates hahah. With this setup I'll cover a wider range of skating. Damn, those 72's are still so much more versatile. Ah, these autistic doubts...
the good vibes.. the box jumping candle like tricks seemed sketchyAF on those higher frames. id just quit after the first one before breaking anything more than just the skates
I heard Gemini Frames and "they're almost ready." If you happen to skate Powerslide Trinity, Justin Thursday has free downloads for 3D printable h-blocks to use with 3x110 frames.
