Oh I would love to visit beautiful Belgium someday! Those buildings are absolutely incredible. Love the boats on the canal. You captured the beauty of this city perfectly! That Belgium chocolate looks so good! Great video as always! 😊💜 love seeing all of your adventures.
@@ALifeintheParks I will arrive on Sunday. How is the return bus from all different company. Some said about 20 buses and they were running around to find the bus.
@lawrenceung9036 Just return to where you were dropped off, there will be a sign saying what time the last bus leaves. Just make sure you’re on it or you’ll have to get a taxi back to the ship.
@@ALifeintheParks We are over 70 years old. I don't mind to take the 12pm bus to come back to the port. Here is our plan, we will take the first bus at 8:30am bus and return at 12pm.. How much is the tax? Thank you for your reply.
Bruges looks awesom. I love the architecture and canals and cobblestone streets. Belgian chocolates are so good. And the food you had for lunch looked delicious too. Yikes. I would hate to get left behind by the cruise ship!
awesome tour of the city! so picturesque, love everything. all those beers looked super tasty 😋 is there a story behind the tiny statues going bathroom? what happens to those that got left behind? thats like my worst fear lol hope you had amazing time. thanks for sharing ✨
When we went to Brussels a few years ago we went to see the famous Manneken Pis statue. I probably can’t put the English translation on RU-vid and the crowds where so deep. That one gets dressed up too. If you miss the ship leaving then you have to make your own way back! You need to be alive to that possibility when cruising 😜
Like your format on the newer videos. I cannot believe 4 people didn't make the ship. I am one of those people who will show up an hour early to make sure I am there.
@@AnaheimParkTourist We asked how many hadn’t made it back because we were on the last bus. We met a couple who were on a tour of a chocolate factory who had to leave early & jump in a taxi to ensure they were on the ship.
@@AnaheimParkTourist That’s why I would always suggest the excursions from the cruise line for those concerned about that. That way the ship cannot leave without you regardless of what happens on shore.
Many thanks, nope I had no issues with them at all. They were very professional and I can’t recommend them more highly. I hope you have the same experience and that you enjoy your cruise.
I notice on the cruise express website that they also provide local guided tour of Bruges as well. Did you happen to use this option or any other walking tour while you were there? If so, would you have any recommended walking tours?
We just explored ourselves as the organised tours would have cut it fine for getting back to the ship. There are more informal tours from the market square which seemed quite popular. I hope you have a great time there.
Euro I will be going in the cruises in Oct. for the Cruise Express. do we need to purchase the ticket ahead? for 49 Euro guided tour. Do they provided a Tour guide. I didn't see him/her in your video.
Hey, I would recommend however you get to Bruges to book in advance. I didn’t have a guided tour, it was just the coach to shuttle from the port into the city.
