Chéticamp is one of the most picturesque stops on the famous Cabot Trail on Cape Breton island. A traditional Acadian fishing village turned into a regional hub, nestled on the west side of the island, a few hours away from Sydney and right next to the most dramatic and jaw-dropping views of the scenic route. Chéticamp is the largest Francophone enclave on Cape Breton Island, even though sadly I didn't hear any French language during my stay in town, maybe I didn't hit the right places.
