Well done African Tigress you can really adapt anywhere come rain or shine! You actually went to the stream (or river) just as the locals do! Were you able to drink water from the local fridge a Clay Pot we call it Kuku from the part of Niger Delta I come from. Reminds me of my childhood years. Despite the rustic nature of African village life there appears to be longevity there. It is not unusual to find grandma's, and grandpa's well into their 100's (age wise)! Surprisingly We may not find as much longevity in our African cities!!

you killed this video my dear, its just the true village life people dont care if it rains or not they have to move and do so many things from going to the farm and market to making sure the provide for their family, which is typical of a nigerian home, you cutting that amount of pepper chei i cant laugh enough and you ate confortabily wow. eating from the pot most especially in the morning is very common as mostly we eat left overs in the morning so its just and issue of warming and diving while saving time to move on with daily life.#experienceafricans

I wonder if others notice, as I do, that authentic African country side, village or traditional content by AT attracts minimal destructive criticisms, hurtful comparisons or condemnations until it comes to city or urban areas, then many commenters pull out their swords to wage epic battles of superiority in the comment section. Why can’t we just enjoy the differences in urban center content as we do the country side ones without all the ego tripping commentary? What is it about urban life that brings out the worst in us?

I really hope you don't fall sick.. Village conditions are hard even for me as a Nigerian. This is a very remote place. But I appreciate your bravery and adventure. You seem to love Nigeria so much. Like the driver advised, you should find a Naija guy and marry him. Don't worry about where your kids will live. Nigeria and Kenya are both very African places.
