Probably much too late to answer it but everyone has experienced some kind of bullying or mistreatment at least once. That's why bullies become bullies. Mya seems like the kind of person who would want to include and be nice to everyone as much as possible despite being more privileged. Most likely she's gotten hated on before, but she knows how it feels and decides not to pass it on to anyone else cause that would only cause more pain. Trust me I've been bullied horribly in middle school and junior year, did I get revenge? Hell yes. Did I project it on to other people who didn't deserve it? No. There's billions of people in the world and light will always outshine darkness. yeah, because she's in normal or honors classes. American schools suffer severe grade inflation, all the hard stuff is in high honors and ap. But even then a lot of those classes can be very easy
