Yes totally agree- the curls seem to last two hours max- what is the temperature. All other GhDs are set at 185 Celsius.

I have an old GHD Platinum straightener and I have to say usually they really are phenomenal! I have super frizz prone thick wavy hair and they work significantly better and faster than other hairtools, the styles also last longer. Not really sure what was up in this video, maybe it was intentional so they could show off the product in more scenes? Agree though it’s rather counter productive.

She gotta invest in good quality hairspray. Hairsprays nowadays aren't all that crisp like in the 2000s. There are some that provide curl preservation but softness.

While I realize that RU-vidrs are really one big advertisement, I think that you went a little overboard with the GHD unplugged curling iron. If I had to touch up my hair that many times a day, I wouldn’t think that the iron was doing a very good job. Love you and your authentically feminine style! 💖💖💖. Oh yes….Rose!!!

I just found it really cute! I remember seeing one of your holiday posts where you said how you were unhappy with something about the way they looked (although for me it looked perfect) and to see you with a wine stain on your Zimmerman dress, all happy and bubbly made me happy for you, as one can tell you were fully enjoying your evening, not giving a f. about anything, and making a good moment out of something that would sometimes ruin our day... and I feel like that attitude is what we all need to learn and reproduce fully in life xx🥂

Your curls drop not because your hair is thick, it is because you straighten it way too much before curling. It needs to air dry and be a bit damp. Also when you curl it over and over it will keep dropping. Curls usually stay on thick hair more than on thin one

Hey Freddy! Here’s my opinion... I do love this vlog style as it is more realistic and vulnerable. So, maybe film a vlog once every couple of months if you can. Ps Freddy if you read these a little tip for your hair once it's done curls etc wrap it loosely in a bun & a few sprays of light hairspray, in a clip or bobby pins that you can easily take out. Then once dressed and on location take out your hair flip it upside down and gentle style with hands and it would still be fluffy and full. I used to do that at my shoots when we had to jump to locations quickly and it works and my hair has always been very long. Try it next time and see how you go gorgeous. XX

Loved this vlog Freddy! I have fine hair which falls flat and stringy and greasy in a day! I would kill for thick gorgeous hair like yours. My hair breaks easy too and wouldn’t be able to curl it as many times as you did. I always moan about my hair lol. I get in a mood and my hair brush is my third arm. I’m like Marcia Brady always brushing it! I’m thankful to have hair, but I just wish it was thick! I have to wear it up a lot, because I just can’t do anything with it. You need to use fome hair curlers/rods. They need no heat, you put them in after you've done a curl with the straightener and leave until hair cools! Get them for cheap off amazon, it's a game changer! 💛

Love all the the clothes...And a Little Hair Spray Freddy!! Even though I'm lucky enough to have curly hair, I at times spray a little on a finger and run it down the curl and let it dry for a minute before brushing out a little... Keeps them in all day.

Freddy, how do you prevent hair damage from using your straightener/curler so often? I can’t use anything with heat on my hair, even if I set it to the lowest temperature as well as using heat protectant hair products.

Rosé! I love vlogs so much this was so fun to watch💗but what I will say (as constructive criticism) - viewers like seeing the imperfections sometimes. Like another comment said, it felt that you were trying to look good for the camera, which I do understand you don’t usually vlog and so aren’t used to it, but viewers can relate to vlogs as we don’t all look perfect all the time.
