I walked over the 선유도 bridge in September 2018 and it was most certainly one of the happiest days in my life! 😇 The sun was shining and the sky was deep blue, the temperature just right, a little windy but not too chill. I explored the island with a person who is now a dear friend of mine and who also went to Seoul for an university exchange year...how can a memory feel so close and so distant at the same time? 💭

Not sure if you've already been there but the Cheonggyecheon Stream, over near the Jongakk station part, is having a small lantern festival to celebrate Buddha's birthday! It's so pretty! Also the walk all around the base of Namsan tower (it starts behind Seoul Station) is entirely lined in lanterns and is such a nice view at night!

this was lovely! when i studied in seoul i once ended up on seonyudo by pure chance and it really felt like a little sanctuary. i remember chilling on a bench and the ahjumma next to me just wordlessly offering me an entire boiled egg? anyways, you really captured the whole vibe of the area perfectly, thank you for bringing back a precious memory! <3
