I really love to see how a typical Japanese family would have meal together. And what are the usual food choice for family gathering. Great video, plz keep on the good work.
I'm not Japanese so I don't know haha... I've been to Japanese families before and had meal with them and it's pretty nice... they have rice, miso soup, some fried stuffs or fish
I'm not able to pay my fees also and my company won't allow to study my family is so poor so I have spend money in home. Our rent 5500 power and water bill 600+50= 650 (5500+650-8000= 1850) for my sister study also I took loan for that I have to pay 500 a month.
Hi... I’m a new subscriber. How long do you spend applying your make up? How long do you live in Japan? Are you Vietnamese right? I like your channel keep doing it.
I have lived in Japan for 7 years. Yes I'm Vietnamese :D And I spend 3-4 mins for makeup normally haha. In this video, I just do more than normal because one of my subscribers at that time asked me for my makeup and skincare routine so I put it as a part of this video :D And thanks for subscribing~
Thanks for sharing. I laughed when you said "as you can see, nothing changed" after doing your makeup. Really cute. I'm going to try to start making lunch for work like you do to save money and eat healthier
Thanks for watching!!! You should!! I should too lol... I made this video long time ago and I hadn’t been cooking for a long timeeeee just started again last week lol...
Got so much respect for your discipline. Sadly, I cannot survive on such a schedule. I need a bit of chaos, fun, and dare I say, "unhealthy" to be happy. Respect to you tho, and best of luck!
Same. I don’t mind a rough schedule, but I don’t wash my hair every day and sometimes my laundry piles up because I want to go shopping instead or have a few drinks lol!
Alyssa Brown Just don't try to keep your face straight when you're washing the face haha... it works perfectly! the only problem is that you will splash more water around than normal lol...
Skirt running really? You need to be in my day. This is typical for many Americans. I am up at 4:45 work 8-12 hours, sing on Mondays Coast Guard meetings Tuesday and we can’t get off for blood tests. I cook a few times a week also. Isn’t this normal schedules?
@@ChillWithLinh well its fine for once in a while, but im with robinson there. You should take it easy for a change. Nonetheless this is a fine vlog. Love it ^^
I really enjoyed watching this. I guess it’s because I’ve always been curious about how other people live. For example, when I’m walking to the market, I will see inside someone’s window, I can see them in the kitchen, or watching tv, and I wonder what is their life like. Are they happy, what do they do all day? Do they have family, or are they alone... I know I am probably strange for this odd fascination, but, well, it’s just what I do. Seeing your daily routine was very interesting, the only thing I want to ask is, do you have family? You seem so content with life it makes me think you have family and friends you keep close. Thank you for sharing this, I really enjoyed it. Thank you and God bless you.
My family is living in another country so far away :D Many friends are far away too but we text almost everyday :D I meet friends on weekend too. I also loveeee watching people and love learning about people's life too :D
I love wondering about other people's lives too! Sometimes I see a nice building or a huge apartment complex and look at one little window and wonder who lives there? What is that person doing right now? Is he/she happy, lonely, etc?
Haha I kinda hated it... I sweated like crazy too, but at least my office always had air-con on so it was not too bad. I normally went to bathroom right away to wipe some sweat away 😂
The only thing I hate the most...is to follow the "culture" of these companies. Let's jump to the meeting...so I can behead some people for not doing their job right :).
Haha... I can also just skip everything and only stick with foundation with lipstick. Wont make a big difference. Just wanted to show a lot because some of the subscribers back then wanted to know ::
@@lucilleferraro6178 where do you work, duty hours? I think you should ask some family member or a friend or tenant to share apartment with you, and you can share your responsibilities too. Live the life, don't just go on like a machine, otherwise someday you may regret...
@@ChillWithLinh Try to go out more and spend less time editing youtube videos! In all honesty it's going to be hard to find someone if you are at work and home all day!
Thank for sharing your life with us I live I California and I clean my house put out resumes and play video games until I hear from a job. Thank u again
Your day seems to be really tiring, I hope you don't waste your whole leisure time on making RU-vid's films cause you definitely deserve more free time for activities which make you pleasure:( Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Weronika Barczyk thanks for worrying about me! but don't worry it's tiring to make these videos sometimes but at the same time I have a lot of fun making these and sharing it with people! It's one of my passions :) These days I also do many other activities other than RU-vid too, it's just I don't put everything on internet! :D
at first I found it weird when she said they stand on the left so that people on the right can walk past, then I remembered they drive on the left, so it probably comes from that
Edit 2: Okay so I made this video 1 year ago so I actually don’t remember what I included, but I checked again just now and literally I said I took shower at 6:40 and so many people are like “why you’re so dirty why didn’t you take shower?” 😂 ==== Edit 1: Thank you guys for so many likes and comments!!! It really means a lotttttt to me and I'm trying to go through and reply to all of the comments so please be patient with me! :D === So that was a typical day in my life in Japan! :D I'd love to know how you guys spend your day too! ;)
You are super cute and I can relate to some of what you go through. I live in the US/Arizona and work right around the corner from where I live. My daily routine is almost the same (sort of).
Looks all fairly normal, pretty much like a normal day of working in most countries. You seem independent, that's good... just try and have some fun :)
My first time to watch this video and let me tell you I am amazed enjoined everything... You are very organized and smart especially about your healthy cooking just wonderful... Congrats !
You sound very kind and honest. I hope you enjoy living in Japan. I've lived in the US for my entire life and am really fascinated by how people live in other countries and cultures. All the best 😊😊
@@ChillWithLinh I'm glad to hear that you are well now! I hope you are able to visit the US someday. I'd really like to visit Japan...one of my friends went there recently and told me it was really incredible.
"In Japan, it's almost compulsory to apply makeup when you go to work. That's how you show your respect to other people..." Alright that made my skin crawl a bit...
Same thing in Western countries when you think about it. If you don't apply make up, people will often assume you look sick or something half the time. That only happens though, if you have already been using a heavy amount of makeup to begin with. If you have been barely using any from the start, no one's the wiser. ;)
omg exactly haha...if you didn't use anything from the start, people wouldn't even notice... In my country, we don't wear that much makeup but in Japan it just seems like such a common thing that everyone does... in business manner lesson, sometimes they talk about how you should put make up too...
Adam L ... I work at health care here in the US and I have never leave my house without ironing my clothes and do my hair and make up before going to work..... I got compliments every day from co-workers and the Veterans and their family's and visitors... I do the same thing even just going out grocery shopping.. It makes you feel good to look good 😊...
Haha really.... I’m glad 😂 but I don’t think I’m as organized as you may think haha... I’m trilingual, but I’m studying Korean too, so on my way to being quadrilingual hahaha (not even sure if I wrote the word correctly 😂)
Wow, you have a busy day. I live in Hawaii and am not as disciplined as you are. We don’t have rail, yet, so I drive to work. How about a video on what you do on your day off? Aloha,Mike
Aloha~ I always imagine that it would be so nice to drive in Hawaii haha... self discipline is hard I'm still working on it every day... I have a video about my day off but it's been a while ago.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D7J8kdqIIds.html
@@futasupastah i usually needs abt 7hrs sleeping time... but sometimes 6 hrs.. but i can tell the difference btw 6 hrs n 7 hrs sleepong time as with 7hrs sleeping time, I'm very active throughout the whole day till 11pm. Then i start sleeping around 11.45pm... give n take 15mins can dose off already. For you, maybe you are still young and energetic, so 6 to 6.5hrs still ok. Im old already🤣🤣
I've been experimenting a lot with my body actually but somehow when I sleep around 8 hours I feel more tired and sleepy haha... I feel quite okay and way less sleepy if I only sleep 5-6 hours... I hope there's nothing wrong with my body haha
@@ChillWithLinh Never get ashamed of your accent. It shows where you're from and that you are actively trying to learn a language, which is impressive by itself
My goal after graduating is it to work for a global company. Work hard and earn to work for the company abroad. Chose Japan and work there, still with the rules and position from the HQ. My father told me people who come from abroad and especially from the HQ are very respected in Japan and do not fall under the harsh rules and get treated better than Japanese workers.
In 2017 I spent a month traveling all around Japan, but mostly based in Tokyo. It's so orderly and clean, and the people are so polite. The Japanese work long hours and have a yearly holiday to rest for a week. If you get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it. Great video, Thank you!
Have you seen Shibuya or roppongi in the morning? Littered with trash, mice running around, drunken salary man walking around. I was really surprised. Lived for 5 months in Saitama, Higashi-Omiya studying at a university. Went to Tokyo frequently, 30-50 min by train.
Normally, jpn ppl (maybe oriental ppl?) don't wash early in morning or Just wash the hair. Probably take a shower before work/school is a occidental habit
Japan is not for me .... I'm too much wiser...I don't care of make up or too much cleanliness... little hygiene is little bit good ....I don't need any formalities we can be friends...and yes I don't share moy mobile charger except that part everyone can be my friend and all my friend accept my only one term and condition...😅I don't think I'm too good but I'm not too bad ... I'm just simple man .....
I just found your channel and idk what it is but you are literally so genuine and sweet that I have to tell you I’m obsessed with watching!!! Please don’t stop
Love it. So honest and straightforward. I think I was most shocked at the dedication of time to take care of everything like laundry, cooking, work, etc. you go to bed at 12:30am and wake up around 5-7am assuming. So that’s about 5-6.5 hours of sleep. I can’t seem to function off less hours of sleep but maybe I need to try it. I always feel tired even with 9 hours of sleep. But maybe that’s why I can’t get much done either.
No I think it depends on your body. You kinda have to listen to your body and see what works best for you. For me, I’m sleepier when I sleep 8-9 hours and when I sleep 5-6 hours it’s actually perfect :)
Very interesting to see... I like how you prepare your own meals. I showed it to my daughter. I think a lot of single people neglect to eat fresh homemade food.
Hello I am from india. I love Japanese way of lifestyle, specially food habits.how you prefer home cooked meal instead of junk food that's why Japanese are so healthy and far away from obesity. I enjoyed watching your video. I really want to shift there. Keep making videos👍
If my partner stays home from work, he's always surprised at how long it takes me to get ready for my reception job. He's a panel beater so he doesn't even need to shower if he doesn't want to! So lucky
John Mac hellooo... haha I've always wished I could be a guy since I was a kid Katie Aviss reception job must require much more time for proper make up since you'll have to directly deal with the customers right... I just sit at my desk and meet people in my company so it's not that important for me actually and I'm grateful for that lol
No one needs makeup 😊🌸 Why should women have to cover their faces up when men doesn't have to? Or simply why should anyone have to do it? 😅 We have to learn to appreciate the natural female face rather than getting caught up in tiny wrinkles and what not🌸 I don't believe that anyone will look at you and be disgusted as long as you don't ditch showering and such as well 😅 It's all about how comfortable you feel in your own skin😊 If you have the self esteem to love your face as it is, that confidence will shine through your eyes and your smile (just as it happens with a woman who feels confident in her makeup!) so that no one will notice your tiny skin flaws as they will be aaall drawn to your confident look("look" as in the way you look at people 😀) 😊✊💖
Omg. you gave the cutest voice, I've ever heard. I could listen to you all day. You should look into doing some ASMR if you haven't already. Much love and gratitude from Boston 💛💜💚💙🧡
haha should I? I'm thinking if I should do some bedtime podcast and talking about random things and thoughts I have in my mind, that's what I'm interested in right now :D anyway thanks 💛💜💚💙🧡
