I'm italian and we totally say "boh" for real lol. "Vabbè" is also used as some sort of "whatever", you know, to brush something off (or as a conclusive "alright" like "vabbè catch u later"). 🥰
You always talk about lingopie so I’ve decided to finally give it a shot! I’ve been learning Korean for 6 years and I’ve always used Viki’s built in learning or browser extensions but I want to make my life a lot easier, so here we go! (Also the camp rock reference was good clever 😂)
We actually say "bo" and "va be" with the same meaning that you said, only as informal language, better no with teachers and in emails. Good luck in your learning!
Basically “boh” stands for a big “I don’t know😂” and it’s pronounced like “boooooooh”, while “va be’” is more like “I don’t care/whatever” 😊. I’m glad to see you’re learning Italian:))
I am too old and bald to have a hair care routine but in case it helps to know whilst in Italian you would use a plural for hair in most instances in English it would be hair.
It depends by where you want to live, like northern italy cost more than the southern. Anyway, an apartment can cost minimum about €500 per month (if the apartment is small and in a small city). I think the average cost goes around €1200 - €1500 per month
Oh, that's a good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
@@bakhromjonalijanov8063 in every school in Italy we learn english, but trust me when I say that not many people can ACTUALLY speak it haha. they might know the basics but they couldn't really live in England if you know what I mean
I literally wanted to start Arabic last week, and it was holding on all week, and then Friday zoe.languages posted a video on Arabic history so I took it as a sign to start. I did this with Russian in January and this was before i really knew my study schedule and how i enjoyed learning my languages so it didnt last very long but it reignited my love for Swedish. I don't know if this is what is going to happen with Arabic but I'm enjoying it for the time being
I can relate to that last part a lot. I’ve started a lot of languages but then stopped once that initial excitement wears off and I’m left with no motivation. I’m currently studying mandarin and I think that I’ll actually stick with it this time because I want to travel to china and Singapore, so it should keep me motivated
Hi everyone :) I'm interested to hear what languages are on yall's language wishlists/languages you want to pick up in the future? I have Estonian, Mandarin, Serbo-Croatian, Afrikaans, Tagalog, asl and Toki Pona!
I'm currently learning ASL (almost a year in) and I love it! I hope you get to learn it one day! On my wishlist are French, Russian, Mandarin, and Italian!
Hi! I'm from Serbia so I am really happy that you want to learn Serbian. I am learning English, German and Italian. I am also plan to learn Spanish and French, maybe Korean, Japanese and Portugiese. I will see❤❤
hi, hi. I want to improve my English a little bit more, by learning new and more advanced languages. I have been studying German for a few years now, but sadly I still don't have the confidence to speak irl. in my wishlist is also to pick up Spanish. thanks for the question and good luck with your goals
I've been living in the Netherlands for almost two years now and I'm trying to learn to speak more freely but it's hard to let go of a fear of failure :(. Can you maybe recommend the Dutch creator you mentioned?
Ho già imparato qulche aria Italiana come O Mio Babbino Caro e ho commeciato a imparare qualche altra come Una Voce Poco Fa ed Una Volta C'Era Un re ( provo ad insegnarle a me stesso e daverro dificile vo Una Voce Poco Fa. ). Stai imparando il tedesco e il finlandese brava. Ho studiato il tedesco durante il primo anno alla scuola superiore
I'm waiting for LingoPie to have languages that I'm actually studying 😂 I want to use it so bad but French isnt a current language. Maybe next year but not now 😅
@@lutauwu6280 I've heard to start with MSA and that it will help in the end when it comes to learning a dialect, but eventually I would love to learn egyptian because I want to go to Ciaro, or maybe study at Ciaro University. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I change my mind after doing more research in a few months once I've gained a better grasp of MSA. What dialect do you speak?
@@adventureswithmadison that’s exactly what I was going to recommend 😆! Plus there are so many resources for Egyptian Arabic ! I speak Algerian Arabic (North African) which is a mixture of Arabic ,Amazigh (Kabyle) ,French , Spanish and Turkish ♥️
@@lutauwu6280 I would love to live in Egypt one day so I imagine my dialect would grow and be effected by the city I live in. There are so many dialects! Algerian sounds familiar but I don't think I placed it as an Arabic dialect until now. Algerian Arabic sounds so interesting!
could you maybe make a playlist with all your videos that are about language learning? we could find them so much more easily & it would be so helpful 🥹🫶🏻
Boh it surely means i don't know, but i would say that you use it when you actually have 0 clue. And with vabbè it means "never mind", it doesn't come frome to vabene, since it means ok. Anyway you shoud have come to Apulia!
ok so,, i'm from northern Taly and can't speak for athe whole country,, but,, 'boh' i used A LOT in every contest ( smts even teachers use it lol),, the 2nd one i didn't quite understand it but 'va beh'(or vabbè or va be') means smth in the lines of 'nevermind'. Good Luck w/ learning italian !! ( oml i'm so engaged )
vabbè is a sort of slightly unsatisfied "whatever"; frequent when you "surrender" to some slightly unpleasant reality; e.g. long queue therefore things will be running late "....vabbè...." complemented with a slight smirk
Hello, when submit Ciema certificates do you have to wait for the university to forward your documents again to the embassy before you can apply for your visa?
I saw a couple of videos of you studying Portuguese, but I don't remember if I have seen you speaking it. I would really love to see you speaking a little bit in Portuguese, since it's my mother tongue.
