Entitlement is a disease these days. I’d ask for HOA to fine the couple. Everytime they block public property with any objects or even their own bodies. Get dash cams and maybe a camera pointing toward that plot of land. Fines will clearly stack up enough for them to move out or stay inside their homes more.

@@KaylaKosuga maybe, praying....the neighbors ( all the others) can write a letter to HOA. Including what and how they're upsetting the entire community , for the harassment of these neighbors. It's their duty to handle,defuse the situation. I heard that HOA live collecting monies ect.ect. Bummer. I'll research it some more. Has to be something the entire community can say to HOA. To Make them step up. Getting paid not to protect your expensive investment from the impossible, abusive, neighbor.

Here in Houston Texas it was around 60 degrees outside during the day for like a week straight, now it’s back to 85-90 degrees. That is literally my fear when I moved into my home with my husband. I'm grateful to have nice neighbors (so far). That is sooo frustrating and Elijah handled it so nicely. He even asked for permission to move the flowerpots lol! It's the "breathe in, breathe out" shirt for me. If they don't want anyone to park there, why don't they just purchase that land?

@@KaylaKosuga Maybe you & all of your neighbors can look into a HOA attorney & sue the HOA for negligence. Maybe planning to sell the property may be financially better than renting it... b/c this unresolved issue might not make it a good investment property long-term.. due to tenants having to deal with this disruption if it still persists. It is great you're moving, no one should have to deal with this. Especially a young family, raising kids in their most critical years of development. Best wishes

You may not be able to receive compensation or see a change from the disruptive neighbors, but the HOA is a business and they have a fiduciary duty to maintain the neighborhood so that it is livable. Legally, if taken to court & providing all of the collected evidence from you + the other neighbors & showing proof of the lack of responsiveness from the HOA to resolve anything... you're likely to receive compensation from the HOA or at least the HOA finally taking action to improve things. Especially if this is why you're moving. Definitely consult with consultation free attorneys, & receive multiple home valuations from realtors to financially plan if renting or selling is worth it, you can always purchase a better investment property for renting
