Omg i recently visited Guanajuato and i felt happy, alive. This made me contemplate moving back to my hometown. Then i found this channel and was very motivated by them.
Yes a busy day and a long day but...working in the best of paradise doing fun tasks and not droning in a windowless cubicle makes a huge difference. Nice to see some baila I'd love to learn some of that not sure about my hips action !!

If you come to Puerto Escondido Losodeli is the best place to stay. (that is not a sponsored comment) Losodeli helped us fall in love with Puerto and mostly because of the people we met here that have made this place amazing.
It's our job to establish a communities very often here at the hostel and we have gotten so good at it! Maybe someday we will have a hostel to ourselves.

I am surprised that you did not find vendors with chapulines outside the mercado on Calle Octava Nte (or maybe it was just on the weekend that all the vendors were along that sidewalk). We were not able to find chapulines anywhere which was strange. There were vendors on the sidewalks but no chapulines. So far, the hostel guests get the Eat Baila Travel experience everyday lol Saludos Dan wiish you and your family the best!
Yes! We feel bittersweet about it! To be honest, we came in "off-season" and Puerto says they have not had an off season in two years! We were here in July last year and it wasn't as packed as it is now but Puerto is getting VERY now with Spring Breakers and it's starting to feel like a good time for a little change. But we will be back VERY SOON 😉
New to your channel. My home town is Chicago, but relocated to Texas many years ago. I visited Puerto Escondido. Puerto Angel and Las Bahias de Hualtaco way back in 1991. Not many hotels back then many 3 total in Hualtaco. Beautiful beaches and were isolated at that time. Times have changed. Are you still in Puerto Escondido or back home?

Kevin's family used to visit Puerto in the 90's and they were so surprised how much it's changed. Sometimes Jenny and I don't even see each other much and that complicates things. But we will definitely work on more vlogs like these.

We are running around hustling but it doesn't feel as rough on us because we are doing things we really enjoy to do. Hopefully someday we can meet up and have a meal together.

We are staying in the area for a little longer but we are waiting to finalize our next destination but at some point we will be in the mountains in Chiapas!

This was our lives for 3 months but we really enjoyed all of it! It was a strange period where we lost our jobs and needed to figure out life. Loved it! Saludos
