I did a four years sentence from day 1 (no remand) I got a job in the kitchens I remember getting changed and a guy said"im out tomorrow " another said" I'm out next week "I thought fuck I got minumum 24 month to do. I got so depressed for about a month than I thought no one cares no one gonna help me I'm only making life difficult for me. So I decided to work upto the best kitchen job (number 1) 7 days a week I went gym as much as possible. When that door shut at night I wanted it shut I did not watch TV I studied Greek mythology. Astronamy and cosmology. I become a positive vibe Ina negative place. Remember they can lock you up but your mind is free it's not a slave or a prisoner. That's upto you
For real. 2 years ago I managed to dodge a sentence but for the 12 months I was on bail I watched channels like this. If you are looking at jail shout me and I can help you as my brother is on there and I can help you if you in the Midlands. We gotta help each others
You might get in a fight and maim or kill someone unintentionally. You might get involved with a woman who makes false allegations of domestic violence or rape against you. You just don't know.
Hey Bruv good information and insight. I've been to a few jails in Scotland not much different from English jails. My advice to anyone doing a sentence firstly keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut. Don't get involved in business unless you can back it up with strength because some wanker will always try it on. Stay out of joining gangs because it just brings trouble to your door. You can never fully relax in jail as you have to have your wits about you at all times. It's cool if you can get a cellmate and you like each other makes life behind the door much easier. I was not allowed to go to work as they said I was high risk so I got a job as a passman he is the guy who looks after the landing works in the survery dishing out the food. The best advice I can give is don't get into the position in the first place. Enjoyed your video. M
Hey dude this is a great informative video. For those who have never been. Just a couple of details you got wrong a crown court is open to all sentences so they can give you a day a month a year and more. Not a year upwards like you said. Magistrate used to be able to give a 12 month sentence max now I think 18 month. Or 2 year suspended.
VERY USEFUL TIP OF ADVICE - They HAVE to inform you of your right to a solicitor - Ask for the duty solicitor, or they will crucify you thinking its in your best interest to tell "your side" and they will try and do you!
You must advise people not to go into interview room without a solicitor and preferably no comment and plead not guilty try to get your own solicitor not duty solicitor
@@hypalegendzyt6819yeah you got lucky mate! But any representation is better than none. Nothing wrong with answering no comment to everything. People seem to think that makes you look guilty, but fuck that. Less you say the better.
Very insightful 👏🏿👌🏾, keep up the work my brudda. Always has to be a positive from a negative, and you're spitting the positive 💯, blessing keep coming yoir way fella
You are right. There is no time to go to jail. You come across as an intelligent young man. I do hope you have stayed out of trouble and continue to do so.
Before you commit a crime; look at what you have around you. Are you willing to loose it? Then go in the bathroom and sit down 🪑 now can you do that for 23hrs a day for yrs and yrs. You have a house you live in; a house you can leave whenever you want, eat whatever you want within affordability. You prolly got a next gen console and family, maybe a girl or a child don’t throw away for this lifestyle think before you act. 🙏🏾
I watched that drama Time with Shaun Bean on BBC and I might complain about my life but I’m grateful I’ve never been to Prison. This year it was my first time in hospital with a really bad stomach illness. I would say hospital is better than prison.
It would be good to have a guy like you talking to 1st time offenders going to jail so they know what to expect. I was sentenced to 9 month for my 1st offense and didn't know what to expect. I saw my friend been attacked by a man so I through him off my friend it turned out he was off duty police arresting my friend and I got 9 month.
make a video about when you were young(around 15 years) or about Feltham for the young people. the process from being arrested to ending up in Feltham, or a story from where you were 15 and the arrest and court process.
Magistrates is 6 months for a single offense with a maximum of 1 year with more than 1 different offenses in single hearing. A Crown court can sentence you from anything even under a year to life with no tariff. Hope this helps.
I read Mike Tyson undisputed truth twice and then sugar ray Robinson autobiography. Anyone going jail learn to read. Keep you out of a lot trouble. This was at pent
They proper flaunt it and lap up the attention. Female guards are used to calm difficult prisoners or they just listen to them rather then a male guard. Also after years in prison and pumping weights your testosterone rockets and any woman even an old one will make ur soldier stand up solid
As a youngster we talking 1987, I went to Camberwell Court. I didn't realise I was going jail. They had the sweat box parked up right outside the door. They called my name and said Feltham, I said no, the screw said yes, I was pissed. First thing I saw when I went there, was a White yoot get boxed up for his backy and private spends. At that time the wings were named after birds, I was on Raven wing then went onto Kestral wing. Imagine, 23 hour bang up with no telly, man got stomach ache from drinking the sink water, because man was thirsty. Trust me young men, jail is loooong.
He's Talking about tics taken into consideration on the police cell ceiling...its basically telling you do you have other crimes that will come back on you if so admit the crimes and we will take them into consideration when charging you that you don't get extra time because you admitted the crimes
I just did 1.5 years on remand then released with no charge. Half of that during covid. I'm tellin yah, it's miserable in prison right now. I was lucky as I was the passman so door open all day. The rest of the inmates are just banged up 23.5 hours a day and are losing the will to live.
Thank you for your informative review and advice. May God bless you. I personally have never gone to prison and I'm not expecting myself going there because I'm a very careful person. However , without naming anyone, I know someone who is is very high risk prisoner because he was an extremely dangerous warlord that killed thousands in Africa. He has escaped from prison before in the US for a different case. His son was 28 and is currently doing 97yrs in US federal prison. The fact is, he is going to die locked up in UK so there's no further for him out of prison. He was locked up at 64 for 50yrs with 6yrs deduction for time being locked up during trial making it 44yrs tariff. He's located at Frankland prison in England county Durham, category A. Please could you give me an idea if he would be in a single cell or in a shared cell together with others? What would you say is daily life like in category A prison. I'm not sure you've been to such prison but I think you might throw a little light on things for me. Thank you bro.
Thanks for this video, it's very informative. How do I sign up and get arrested so I can go to prison for a few years? It doesn't seem bad. I don't have to pay bills, there's a roof over my head and I get food.
Back in the day crack was seen as the thing to do . It was basically seen as ' bad man coke' but people back then didnt realise it would turn u into a nitty . Its like the youts who suck balloons bow it was just seen ad the ting to do . Or a lot just wanted to mentally escape the roads
@@leonpalmer2429 mad still, yeah thought it would be cos a lot of man suffered from ptsd from what they saw init, smoking w&b was to escape reality of the roads im guessing
@@LFCzak6 yea back in the jungle raves nuff man dem used to bun a crack spliff . Like i said people just saw it a coke for the roads . Some man escaped it and others turned nittys .
Best advice I can give u is make sure your ready to fight is because someone will always wanna try you if your coming in jail with some outside clothes or a stereo. Win or lose fight your heart out or I guarantee the rest of your time time will be horrible.
I an elder now, but if inn awaiting pre sentance reports..there is a way u can hopefully get out.. pherhaps then more time.. these probation people don't usually come in that month normally, so gotta go back to hmp.. I will make a vid.. worked well 4 me..I walked straight out of court
Caught with a *knife* and *Pepper Spray,* gets blessed with a suspended sentence and then gets caught carrying a knife again! *MUG!!* You deserve jail!!
My first week in jail being it was my first was just a mind trip not being able to walk around and not having my phone was too weird but like animals in a zoo you get used to your habitat 😂😂
Did u have the dream where u were at yard, den u wake up in jail feeling pissed. I had that dream on my 2nd night n even reached 4 my ashtray b4 I clocked my surroundings lol
When I was in Norwich I remember a young lad came in and it got around he had plugged a phone and some brown, he refused to get it out so a few of the big boys had him over the toilet holding him whilst trying to remover stuff with spoons.
Toilet in the police cell doesn't have a toilet seat don't miss out that part, I ripped out magazine pages and folded them to sit on, I have some dignity Only problem was when I got up the magazine half fell down the toilet and I had to fish it out because I didn't want it to jam and flood the cell so there was magazine with forgive my language "poo poo" on it that I had to just toss by the side of the toilet. All my dignity was lost at this point lol I felt bad for person that had to clean that cell, they must have wondered wtf went on
In america if u admit to being in a gang u get prison time just for that in my part of england they ask what area ur from and if u have any problems with people from other areas
Nah that’s how they view it here... if you debrief you have to tell them what gang you’re in and debriefing means you snitch to leave the wing and get transferred to a safer part of the prison with all the other snitches and the sex offenders, gay people, disabled people etc. People who think they’re gonna get killed or they’re in too much debt do it.
People might not be able to see into those buses, but you can certainly hear the prisoners banging and yelling. I work in a prison and the other day I thought a Serco bus was going to tip over, as the charmers were so manic.
Police station was never boring for me, first u play basketball using all the toilet paper. Then u ask for a next toilet paper cos u use it up n u need to shit, n there already shit stain on these walls, u don't want fresh ones.... Get next toilet paper, repeat process. Then chill for next 30 minutes reading the writing on the wall, see if u recognise any names.... Then spend the rest of your time buzzing them telling them to go chip shop n get a munch.... By then u generally found a biter in the station, a officer you especially annoying... Then target that breddah... Before u know it its interview time baby, that's where u express your right to remain silent... By the end of it these man will never wanna see u again!!
@@1987jugernaut - not at all mate. I’m 6ft 3” but I was in with fairly decent lads. Did 15 months in Cardiff HMP. Prison is a totally male dominated environment so the rules outside don't apply there. Try to learn and understand this quick. It's really important. Never try to be somebody you aren't. Guys who run the wings got no time whatsoever for fakers or wannabe badmen. Be yourself and do not get out of line in any situation. Keep your mouth shut at all times unless spoken to. Top boys come talk to you? Talk back respectfully, honestly but give them nothing. Be a grey guy. No emotion. Just honest. Proper raw guys will test you to see what you're about and if you're too animated they will clock you and then you will be on their radar. That's not good. End of the day I think prison is a bit like a cat. If it's chilling, leave it alone. If it comes to chill with you, give it a cheeky smoothe. Basically, you can't control it so behaviour is everything.
I was in YOI Ashfield back in 2001 I was a lost 16 year old yute , I’ve never been back to the jailhouse since, got my wife ,kids nice house car career etc I’m glad i had the experience first hand freedom is priceless even though it was like a holiday camp they even padded me up with my best friend and co defendant.
This may be a bit personal but I’d appreciate if you could summarise how you were able to turn your life around like how you were able to pursue education and career despite having a criminal record
As soon as i got out of prison I decided to enroll in a city and guilds multi skills college course which consisted of Carpentry , Bricklaying and electrical installation, I also worked a twilight shift 5pm until 10pm Monday to Thursday as my college ema allowance was low and I’m from a single parent background with very little money and resources, after passing the course after the first year I really enjoyed carpentry and showed great potential according to my tutors , they therefore recommended me to a well established house builder that was recruiting for modern apprenticeships and I’ve never looked back since..I almost missed the opportunity because where I live is a small town near Birmingham and I was quite well known around as a Jack the lad always in trouble etc anyway the construction managers personal assistant knew of me and decided to tell him I’ve done a bit of bird and have a bit of a bad reputation, anyway luckily for me he gave me a chance and I never let him or more importantly myself down , I even managed to win various awards for my work most notably apprentice of the year 2005
@@avfck3536 you took on a great career route. You can start your own construction company and make £££s Especially doing private jobs! Well played out!
Good vids dude. Watch videos on Larry Lawton he's got some great stories, worked on a rehab programme for prisoners once they come out so they don't go back in.
True, but awhile b4 this era, it was clean 23hr bang up. In that 1 hour it's a pop out for food, association, and food. Lol, getting a job.. huge waiting.. be out by that time unless ur doing a very hot min
Baguettes tuna cheese n pickle coronation chicken then a packet of crisps a small chocolate or pack of biscuits. A fruit. Some days u can get chips in btixton lunch time.
I have not been to prison for 11 years I hear that smoking is banned from all parts of prisons.. Wow I don't smoke I used to see people seriously hurt others for rizla. Induction wing must be crazy with the stress
