Heartbreaking that they have lost their mums and other family members to this horrible trade in bushmeat. So glad they have people who care and support them through this trauma and they have each other for friendship and company.

Awww... I think 1:37 is my favorite part! The little ones together with one of them grooming the other (who is obviously enjoying it) and lip smacking... not JUST lip smacking, he/she REALLY put the "smack" in lip smack! LOL! Then at 2:00 he/she is "helping" the caretakers clean the cages! It is just amazing and intriguing how intelligent chimpanzees are - they pick up on even the smallest details; they WANT to learn! I love it! This video is so sweet! It really brought a smile to my face seeing how grateful they all are and how well the hierarchy is respected by both chimps AND the humans that care for them. Last, but not least, the man in the very beginning doling out the fruits into baskets is one of my absolute favorite caretakers at this rescue! I've seen him in several of these videos and he's just amazing with them! Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, with such beautiful music, with all of us!!

Grateful that these chimps have a save place to live and thrive. Also, that song is beautiful! I love the music in your videos. Have you ever considered recording them on a CD or uploading and selling it? The $ could be used to help fund the sanctuary.
