when we listen to beatles music it is very emotional because it brings us back to a place where we were young fit and carefree still had our families and lfriends Also its only now when weve time to listen to the real skill and talent and how truly great and gifted these chaps were.
Paul said he will be know as one of the top 10 people of all time. He is # one in my book. Nobody has even come close to anything he has done and or accomplished. Paul, your the best and I knew this from way back in the Beatles times and again when they split up. Thanks for the best music of all time. Love this song so much!!!!
I’m glad he sang this song. People need to hear one of the greatest songs ever written by the Beatles. They have never heard it live before. This is a reminder of the greatness of the Beatles. And I like how it segues into Give Peace A Chance. Bravo Macca!👏🏻🎸😎
I haven’t heard this for decades. This is amazing stuff . The world was robbed of something special that day in New York . There we fantastic songwriters around at that time but these 4 ( the other 2 definitely made a difference to their music ) I was lucky enough To grow up when these guys were at their peak.

Yes, it is a shame that Ringo probably would ever re create the part as he refuses to re do anything he did before the same way he did it originally. But it is cool to see Abe do the part. Paul said so in interviews for the movie Give My Regards to Broadstreet when Ringo would not do Beatles songs for the flim.

Plus all that post-Beatles recordings that were done by The Boys to remind the global community of their enduring, loving legacy. In my opinion, you can't have too much of this!
No disrespect intended, but I'm going to guess that you were born AFTER the 70s? Those of us who grew up in the 70s remember his post-Beatles band was called Paul McCartney and Wings. That's how his songs were introduced on the radio. Then in 1981, Paul disbanded Wings, so all of his solo work was referred to as Paul McCartney songs as you described. But in the 70s ... definitely Paul McCartney & Wings. Makes me nostalgic. :)

Its not Paul McCartney & Wings. "Wings" is called Paul's band. If you refer to a Paul song after Beatles (with Wings), you don't say "Its Paul and Wings song" you say "it Paul's (lol?) ".Anyone agrees?
Why is it I want to cry when I hear this song and this war in Ukraine keeps on killing so many innocent people. It is heart breaking and I wish the entire world would get together and sing this song at the same time so show Putin that love and Peace will be here long after he is gone. And the Russian people need to all get together with the rerst of the world to push this peace and stop this dam war.
