That was me for the longest time! But the more time I spend working as a chemical engineer, the clearer it gets.

My father wanted me to pursue chemical engineering. I just wasn’t interested, so I ended up studying computer science. Great to hear your story. Pardon my curiosity: Tell me about your name - Sundani Shilaluke? What does it mean, and where does it come from?

Hi, not sure if you're aware but a note to be wary posting anything related to your work, location, personal life. Noticed the uniform at 5:32 Nice video, I hope it's an exciting career for you.

I'M also doing diploma in chemical engineering...can you please tell will passing the modules with 50-60% have iffect on my degree?
@SundaniShilaluke

Hi. I did a BSc in Chemical Engineering so I’m not sure how much that would differ from what a diploma can offer but what I noticed when preparing to go into the work space is that some companies only wanted to hire people who had passed modules with more 65% and some didn’t. I personally passed a few of my modules with 50-60% and that was not an issue for the company I had a bursary with and am currently working for. In summary, I think it depends on where you hoping to end up; but obviously passing with more than 65% would give you more options.
