I really likes this one! I'm from Germany and was thinking about doing a semester abroad in California. Now I can't stop watching videos or reading experience reports :D These things are gonna help me deciding if I'll do this in two or three years or not. :) I'd like to know if someone knows someone who did a semester in CSUN so he or she can contact me and give me advice (especially how they managed the financial status, ugh >.< Me and my family aren't that rich, duh xD). Excellent video. My son is seriously considering CSUN next Fall 2018. He's a music major at a local Community College here in NorCal. My wife and I swung by the campus (CSUN) this summer on our way home from a UCLA tour, but didn't see much action since it was summer AND Saturday. From your video, it looks like a nice campus environment, but we were wondering, is it a relatively safe area, i.e. the surrounding areas if he has to live off-campus?

I’m a freshman right now (class of 2022) at John F Kennedy High School in Granada Hills and I’m been interested to go to CSUN once I graduate from high school and CSUN it’s really beautiful campus and has really interesting stuff there so hopefully one day I will go to CSUN

How far long are you in student dept? Also, I hear that the student gym fee is mandatory to pay off, is that true?

ver0NIKA 8ANALE5 Luckily I have financial aid, the tuition I pay includes the gym and other places on campus. I try to make use of all the resources since I'm paying for it.

I've been to community college for a while now, so I don't know if financial aid will help me as much anymore. I am trying to get into the EOP program to ease the burden of college tuition, hope it works out. I still don't think its fair to pay for something I may not use though, shouldn't there be a student protest?

i go to the same uni too and it's incredibly affordable. the max you pay for tuition is 3k a semester but nobody pays that amount unless they have a poor gpa or come from a rich household.
