My best final story was when I was in high school, I got REALLY sick, and my parents actually took me to the doctor who gave me a note so I can redo my exam later on in the week and I went to sleep... then I woke up in the middle of the night (I might have been having feverish hallucinations) and just decided to study.. and the next morning I went to school, took my exam which I studied for in the middle of the night with a fever and through no pressure from anyone, and got an A+ I actually got the best grade in class on that exam... so weird, dunno how I did that tbh 😂

I had exams last week as well 😭😭 I studied for philosophy until I fell asleep at 9pm and I woke up the next morning freaking out because I thought I’d fail but I got 100% I’m a believer now that sleep actually helps. That and luck

Biom engineering last year, left so upset and cried all the way home whilst eating a slap of chocolate. Got my marks a month later to find that everyone else found it difficult and that my mark got scaled to a distinction! Was my saving grace and helped me maintain my GPA to get into med school

I am studying medicine in Germany and the first 3 semesters is only anatomy and biochemistry . in the second semesters there is lab anatomy and there is a big exam every 30 days :D

For anatomy lab I use unlabeled pictures and put them in those clear plastic paper covers that you can slide the paper into then use a whiteboard marker and you can erase it and do it again! It works great

Worst finals moment: an oral final in my ethics class, fall semester last year. I thought I was prepared and knew everything in the ethical matter I signed up for, but the minute the professor started asking the questions, my mind went completely blank. I had an A in the class before the final and finished with a B+ because I just completely bombed it so badly. The worst part was another person chose the same ethical matter and I knew all of the answers the professor asked her.

My first semester freshman year I ended with a 2.6 because I was in the hospital for a while and the semester just didn’t go well at ALL and the next semester I grinded and wanted to my best on my finals and ended up getting above a 95 on all 5 of them so good things can happen !

This is my first semester at college and our finals got pushed back because of the hurricanes a few months back (we're in central NC) and this week was supposed to be finals week but we got hit by a huge snowstorm Sat night/Sun morning and it keeps snowing so our finals keep getting pushed back to next weekend and I am so STRESSED oh my god send help and some more sunshine

Madison Mefford the academic standards at university of Oregon are not very good and they dont have a good business school. For a school that size their endowment fund is very low I really think you should go somewhere else

Recently got accepted to UO as a transfer student and have been binge watching your videos since I've applied lol (Human Physiology major as well!!) Thank you for the many videos about your experiences and about the school in general. Just a quick question about what you recommend for housing for transfer students? Dorm on campus or just find an off-campus apartment? Keep posting girl, your videos rock.

So happy to hear that my videos have helped you out! That's a really hard question..honestly I would go the dorm route because it is so much easier to make friends where in an apartment it much more isolating and hard to feel as involved. But if you are super independent it could be nice to have your own place and if you're rushing and getting involved you will be fine. It also depends what your transfer experience is...if you've never lived in a dorm you should because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity :) Hope that helps

at the end of spring semester, my friends and I all got e. coli from the community bathrooms..THE LAST 24 HOURS OF FINALS WEEK.. but we all ended up getting A's on our last exams so i guess it worked out in the end:)

this is late but my best finals moment was this: I didn't even study for my chemistry finals bc i didn't understand it even tho i tried. the morning of the finals, i just walked in with my travelers' mug of cold water and finished it in less than 20 mins. got the results back and it turned out to be a B+. Even my teacher was confused and thought I cheated, lolllll. (he knew how i hate chem). to this day, i still don't know how i passed it..

Worst finals story: I was at Wichita State University my sophomore year and taking my Chem 1 final. I got the first few questions, but then the test started asking about things we had never even gone over, like the questions used terminology that we didn't talk about. Halfway through the test they realized they gave some of us the final for Chem 2, which I wasn't taking until the next semester. So over an hour into this test I had to go to a separate room and start over with the real Chem 1 final. I never figured out what I got on the test, but I got an A in the class so it must not have been too bad after I got the right test.

My worst finals story is literally a college students worst final. I slept right through it, I had been up studying all night and I fell asleep with my laptop and when I woke up it was 3 hours past the exam start time. I failed the class and had to retake the class the next semester. Also I had an A in the class and I had worked my butt off for that A.

Had my first week of finals at UofO last week and i got a leak in my dorm and had to temporarily switch rooms the day before my hardest final. I still don't know if they found and fixed it :/
