Short answer is no. But, depending on if you are talking about bachelors or masters, a few or most, courses are in englisch, respectively. Additionally, in most cases you should also be able to hand in homework assignments or exams with solutions in english, even if the exam (and it‘s questions) are in german. Just ask kindly :) But yeah, in theory no CS major is officially an english major, but (in the masters) you can often select the courses you want to be in english (i.e. they offer the same course in german and english!). So in practice, yes, you can have a CS masters major in english haha But bachelors is pretty much german, with as mentioned perhaps a few exceptions. I hope this wasn‘t too confusing 😅😊

Cool vid! I'm also interested in computer/software engineering. I'm not from Germany, but I'll move there soon after high school. Do you maybe know what level of German is required for studying in University in Berlin for software engineering and do I need to already know some coding to get accepted? Also, are there any English speaking options until I learn German to a required level? Thanks in advance!

cool!! You will need a german level of C1 I believe. I don‘t know any public university that has an english undergraduate program :/ But the masters program in CS at TUB is in english!! You don‘t need any prior coding skills, you just need to meet the minimum grade requirements, german language of C1, and either come from an accepted High School or visit the „Studienkolleg“

@@borismeinardus Yea.. thanks for the answer! I'm currently learning B1 German but I have B2 English Cambridge Diploma. I read that they have preparatory courses in TU so I will definitely need to go there to learn German to a required level before I actually apply. I think that's my only option as of now..

The exact model is the LG 34UC99-W curved but I believe they don't produce this model anymore. This (amzn.to/3btvUDK) should be the successor model and is even cheaper!

My german gpa will be 2.2 in my bachelors, i want to do ms in cs from tub (considering i have strong profile with few internship experience and some certificates etc) what are my chance to get admit at tub. Hey Brother I have a question for you I'm actually an international student and currently I'm planning to do my bachelors in Computer Science from TU Berlin in German taught program so basically I've just recently completed my B2 german profiency test so If I'm going to do my bachelors in German language would that be a problem for me or not . Hi! first of all congratulations to your B2 level 😊 I don‘t think you have to worry too much. I’m the beginning it will probably be intimidating but your german skills will skyrocket when being exposed to such a german speaking environment! Most courses will probably be in German, but pretty much everyone there will know english and be willing to help you whenever you don‘t understand something. Politely asking such questions might even be a good ice breaker for making new friends 😊

Hey, thank you very much! So, I haven't found much regarding an Indian diploma. I guess it will first of all depend on what you want to go for: a new CS Bachelors, or directly get started with a masters program. Anyway, there are consultation zoom calls available that I would recommend you hop into. Hi, I am studying Computer Engineering (bachelor) at Politecnico di Milano and would like to transfer to Tub for my Master's degree. I found out that Computer Science is taught in English/German and Computer Engineering is only taught in German. What are the main differences between Computer Science and Computer Engineering ? In Italian universities, Computer Science has more coding and Computer Engineering has more maths and theoretical subjects. Thank you

Bro i had one question that is can i apply for ms cs english program in tu berlin if i have transcripts till mey 5th semester of bachelors( my degree is of 6 semesters ie 3years and by deadline i can only provide transcripts till 5th semesters but by enrolment i will have my degree) And one more question bro ie are three years bachelors accepted as many people presume that it is not accepted like have you seen someone with three years bachelors in ms cs program? Hey! Thank you very much 😊 It should be possible, yes! What you can additionally to to verify that, is to contact the TU Berlin directly. But again, I think there should be no problem. Yes, 3 years bachelor is totally fine! In fact, pretty much all bachelor programs here are laid out for 3 years :) I hope this helps! 😊

I believe so, yes! You should simply need to match the minimum gpa to be accepted and you are good to go, since (again, I believe) your official language is now english. Otherwise you would also need to provide a certificate for english proficiency.

I sadly really don‘t know anything about TU Wien :/ I‘m sorry :( But in general, I assume it will be a decent uni and if you are motivated yourself you should work on external projects or do internships next to uni that you can put onto your resume. That you can do no matter where you study :)

I live alone in an apartment. For managing expenses I recommend tracking them every month to see where the most money is „wasted“! Many students share accommodation that they rent out themselves or via an organization called Studierendenwerk. But in general, you have to take care of it yourself. There are options for asking questions and getting consultation, but in the end, you have to rent out a place yourself. The uni won‘t do that for you. I hope this helps! ☺️

Short answer would probably be Computer Science. There is a lot of engineering that is required to actually work with AI in the real world.

The CS Master program is fully in english but the bachelor is in german. There most courses and assignments are in german but most courses accept english solutions to assignments and exams

No not at all! At the TU Berlin there is no "real" competetive admission process, where you are directly compared to other applicants. You simply need to meet the admission requirements and you will then be accepted. Those requirements sometimes include a minimum grade, yes. But for CS for example this grade is typically around 2.1 (German scale). For international students there is something called the "Studienkolleg". I recommend looking that up if you don't already know about it.

Is it Computer science or Software engineering or Computer Science engineering? Hey! Yeah, „Informatik“ is the translation for all of those different variations of essentially the same degree- Computer Science. Whether you will receive a Bachelors of Engineering or of Science is up to the university. TU Berlin defines the program as a Bachelors of Science. I hope this helps :)

In Germany public universities are free of tuition fees! But you will still have to pay 307Euros I believe. This costs mainly includes the fees for the public transport! Hi! Both TUM and TUB offer Bachelor programs for CS :) But both are in German :/ It will in general be difficult to find an english speaking bachelors program at a german public university. But the Masters CS program here at TU Berlin is in english :) I‘m sure you can learn german and study an english speaking bachelor program and then change to TUB or TUM

Thank you for caring about my health! 🧡 But yeah, I have heard so as well, but after looking into it more and more, I figured out it really isn't that bad for you. A lot of Korean and other east Asian cuisines use it. Germans as well, but they don't know it haha. Germans love their "Maggi"-Sauce and guess what the main ingredient is (It's MSG). But again, I genuinely appreciate the care 😊

Some people think so and some don't. I have read into it myself and found nothing bad. Plus, asian cuisine uses it en mass and they have no issues. I also have not had any complaints with it. But I really appreciate your concerns 😊
