just wanted to say I’ve been watching your vids for a while now and I find them super inspiring as an adult beginner figure skater!! tysm for everything you do for your skating girlies 💕⛸️
I went back on ice after my sprained ankle put me off for 8 weeks… only your videos kept me going 😊 I’m taking my isi gamma test next Friday! Hopefully I can get to delta and finish all my basic levels before the year ends ❤
Your videos inspire me so much! I’m in the process of trying to get my scratch spin right now, I know all the steps for a scratch spin but I’m having a lot of trouble getting my leg over the other while spinning, like it just won’t go over😭 if anyone has any tips that would very appreciated
Do you use the PNF technique for stretching? I went from being completely inflexible to getting my right split (easier leg) by following your stretching tutorial and applying PNF within like 6 weeks.
start off small! if you even do the tiniest waltz jumps you’ll slowly improve. practicing bunnyhops is also helpful and doing waltz jumps at the boards. what also helped me is to practice doing two foot jumps forwards to backwards on a curve (like using one of the rink circles as a guide), and then trying to do that with one foot. if you can jump forward to backwards on a curve and on one foot then you can do a waltz jump! try both feet and see which one is more comfortable! i’m also a beginner and these are tips that got me my waltz jump!
