Matthew has been working for the Diamond Specialist Joinery in Upminster for the last year. Watch this video and find out what he has to say about doing a joinery apprenticeship and what it involves.
when using any hard wood those extractor bags are insanely heavy from the dust, its better to empty them when half full but lets face it no one does that.
I know I’m late, im a 2nd year apprentice at a bespoke joinery company. I’ve got the same ambitions. I want to make window frames staircases etcetera, a lot of the apprenticeship is helping around the workshop and small take but a lot of it is observing and listening. I find college there most difficult because of distractions and less pressure. I find it hard to visualise a job before it’s assembled. Any advice?
@@primalfury2011 it’s definitely not as bad as blue/green/yellow asbestos but yeah they should wear masks better yet have the dampening system thing that weighs the particles down
