Something they need to change when building distribution centers is to add windows, skylights to make the place brighter with natural light, add fake plants, 1 hrs brake, etc. Working in a dark and enclosed area is depressing, nobody likes to work in a box but rather a filling of outdoors environments.
@@csick11 yea it’s pretty good it’s lot of walking but you get used to it after 2 weeks. OT depends on how the day is gonna be, so far it’s just been 9-10 hr days. Some days are gonna be 12 hrs even 14.
I work for NM Transfer were their carrier for the mid west states in wisconsin and the bordering states. I'm very thankful McKesson, 3M and other medical distributors that kept us at least in some work during the pandemic where we didn't have to shut down for a while since we were essential workers. Thanks to all of you work there and supplying the heroes of our world and I'm happy to be able to be a part of helping others get what is so desparately needed especially the whole plandemic started.
I work at the Northborough, Massachusetts DC. I pack thousands of boxes everyday do be shipped. Its very tiring and exausting being on my feet 10 hours a day
Seems like a good job, just applied for a material handler position in DFW hopefully I get a call. Worked in package delivery before and missed the fast pace work, definitely makes time fly by
@@marksinclair2592 She was on day shift receiving and doing put away. That was five or six years ago. Whose managing the distribution center? I'm only asking because they move them around a bit and I might know them.
Ohh wow that was a while back then! And this guy named jeffrey suetter is our DC manager I rarely see him though I work the first shift and it’s not a bad job, I’m just glad my co workers were welcoming and nice, my manager is a pretty cool dude thankfully the scanning system was easy to learn from my trainer
I work for McKesson at a brand new facility that opened in Roseville, Ca . My current position is in the inventory/replenishment . Love working here ! Especially with the new technology they have . Been working for McKesson for 2 months now . I heard McKesson give out good raises also . Now we are getting incentives from our productivity (:
i'm going to start working with this company and the issue that i have so far is that their not really considerate about college students like this company is all about them and that's not good they need to be more considerate about people personal lives the hours for this company is insane 9 to 12 hour shift which is GOOD more money BUT how about student that are going to college? and needs only 8 hours or part time at least? mckesson needs to do something about that. also thanksgiving coming and they told us the night shift we don't work that Thursday BUT we have to work the next day and Friday and Saturdays are my days off which i think is unfair cuz thats not our fault we should have choice to work over time not force us too
@@csick11 your very late buddy VERY LATE i don’t work here anymore I’ve been left this job besides I’m actually graduating soon as a radiology tech 🤷🏻♀️
@@ladyinred9656 that job McKesson is awful. They fire u very fast . if you have kids or family emergency and have to leave early. They write u up. We had over 40 people who quit or got fired while I was there . I left and found better paying job.
Something mckesson needs to change badly is to stop trying to act like who has the bigger balls in management because yall change shit in the company like Flipping a damn quarter 😒
@@dississtupid I got it but then it was taken away because of miscommunication. They scheduled me for a drug test before I even accepted their offer. So they didn't reschedule it and about 5 weeks later said no more offer.
I'd say I'm sorry, but you may have dodged a bullet with that one. The work "literally" never stops. And, if you're not already crazy, they'll pay you a check every two weeks to make you that way. Hope you find work, or it finds you, good luck.
@@dississtupid I found work and it didn't work out. Loved the job but was forced to change shifts unfairly. Was promised transportation back. Didn't happen. Now I got an interview with food services of America
I'm off probation. Its labor intensive but there are far too many weak people. Crazy time off, good pay, great benefits. I do not know many jobs where a person with no formal education can earn 45k per year out of the gate

@SeNiia are you still at McKesson?"you will probably like it more than radiology tech. Healthcare industry has alot of drama. I left the hospital job to accept warehouse job at McKesson. I make 60k here. I was only making 45k at the hospital
