Hey Ben, look at all that rain!! Woohoo, how exciting to see that pond filling up, the dock looks amazing too. All that seed you planted will love this. Looks like a horrible day, but look at those happy, happy cows, stay safe in that mud. Hope that Artic blast is gentler than expected. Stay safe Stringer Bridges 🧡🤠🧡
Thanks. If only we could just balance out the weather. I guess life wouldn’t be as exciting if everything went as expected. Looks like my winter grasses are growing nice, and I think we are ready for the freeze. Looks like we will get close to 20 degrees F, which is very cold for us.
That was a particularly bad day. They have access to a live oak thicket but they came out to fill their bellies. The field looks worse than it really was too. We got about 5 inches of rain within 3 hours. Just a few more weeks and we will get back to rotation and they will have some green grass to eat.
Awesome looking dock to have many good fish catching stories and memories to tell. Curious , will any gators venture to your swamp area? Lots of lightening with that storm, hope you and the herd will be safe cause the chores never wait . God bless you and yours.
Our property was previously called twin bayou farms, because it is bound on the north and the south by large bayous. There are plenty of gators in those bayous. When we get large rain events like this we often see gators on the property, in our fishing pond, and in the small ditches. I’d be willing to bet we will get the occasional visitor in the crawfish pond.
