Trevor Fisher, a College II seminarian from the Diocese of Grand Island gives a glimpse into his daily routine and life here at Conception Seminary College.
I am a young priest from Ethiopia, just one year of service. Seminary life is the most beautiful time of formation. You gave us a clear image of your daily activities thanks for that. God bless you all. I love to visit this place, very beautiful.
Pray for my vocation my brothers in Christ. I just received the pre-liminary application for seminary. This presentation really helps, thank you, I’m praying for you. God bless you.
Wow..Already a Blessing to see a Young...Handsome...Energetic man..in the Path of Priesthood! God Bless and give Strength to all those like him ..who will save our Religion !
I was an Order of the Discalced Carmelite (OCD) postulant and a novice for 2 years, now a teacher. Missing my seminary days. But I know Jesus have another plan for me.. Praying for your vocation guys. 🙏🙏🙏
I'm from Madagascar and i'm proud that there are young people who follow this path I hope that our futur church will be representative of your personnality and your quality
Many years ago, I, too, wanted to be a priest. Family issues changed that path. So, I appreciate this well documented presentation by this talented and dedicated seminarian. You will change the lives of many. I wish you only the best. Tom
As a convert from Jehovah’s Witness I can honestly say the traditional Latin mass is where it’s at. I used to go to the Novus Ordo mass for awhile but it’s nothing like the TLM. Prior to the pandemic around 21% of Catholics went to mass. Post pandemic only around 9% go to mass. The Novus Ordo has only had a 2% growth since 2020. But Latin mass parishes throughout America bring in 250,000+ people to mass every month. With a weekly average of $15,000-20,000 in collections. And even with the all the hate and restrictions thrown at it has had a 28% growth. That says a lot!
"Post pandemic..." one could make a case that those who have quit church (barring something like extreme fear of catching COVID) were just "cultural Catholics" who attended church for wrong motives.
As someone who feels they are being called to the seminary/priesthood, this video was phenomenal to see. I am excited to see more from life in the seminary!
You're a good role model for seminarian. Very energetic and prayerful. Hope the future of catholic Church is strong and powerful as people like you are ready to give their life for the church i.e. life stream of the church.God bless us all.
Thank you, Trevor, and all the folks who helped you create the video of your daily life. It brought back good memories of my time as a seminarian at Conception in 1966 -1967. I can tell that much has changed there since that time, and much of the beauty of that life remains the same. Thanks for letting us all catch a glimpse of your life and commitment.
Lately I’ve felt a true calling to the seminary. I’m in the military, so it crushes me that I’d have to wait 4 years Til I could actually go. But when I tell you every morning and night god tells me it’s where I belong.
thank you Trevor-great job for joining seminarian life..god loves you..congratulations in advance. god is good;). good luck every single thing you do:)
proud of you pastor , you are my inspiration to serve our LORD JESUS, I am evangelist now , even though I often fall and rise in serving MY LORD JESUS . I preach the gospel twice a month , I want to continue my bible study, because i've learned 2 years only , pray for me pastor , I am Steven Andrew Sauw from INDONESIA 🙏❤️🌹
May the Good Lord continue to send holy seminarians to guide His flocks. I pray that you may persevere in you priestly vocation brother. Thanks for this inspiring vlog. Godbless.
Trevor, thanks for the tour of a day in the life of a seminarian. As an oblate of the Abbey I’m there a few times a year & enjoyed your tour. I see that it isn’t all about studies, but prayer, classes, exercise & learning to be a well rounded priest if that is Gods call for you. Prayers for you & the others. My son was a student there years ago as he’ll be celebrating 30 years ordained in June. Mary
Thank you! I love starting my day with an early rosary group at my church followed immediately by Mass. The Lord truly is my shepherd. God bless the Catholic Church!
The Roman papist cult is not the "church" it is an anti-christian cult. May you all repent before being damned to hell for your apostasy and blasphemy.
Wonderful! GOD BE PRAISED!!! I pray daily for my Godsons to be called by God to this best & wonderful vocation, "the Priesthood!" May God Bless them to such a feat! And may God Bless all you Priests & Seminerians!🙏
Hey Trevor...thanks for the insight into your daily life routine. As an Oblate of Conception Abbey, you and the others in the Seminary College are in my prayers. Seeing that you are studying for the Diocese of Grand Island, thought I would note that our daughter lives in Grand Island. My wife and I moved from St Joseph, MO 15 years ago to retire and live at Lake Chapala in Mexico. God Bless you in your discernment and your studies.
Excellent! I remember the Conception guys coming to our annual basketball tournaments at the Josephinum while I served on the faculty (and still played btw) I heard even back then that Conception was a great place. May you guys continue to grow in Christ. You're in my prayers and give me hope for the future; having served in the Lord's vineyard since 1978. --Fr Robert Gonzalez
Wow, Thanks Trevor for your video about your life inside the seminary. I myself is also a late vocation seminarian here in the Philippines. How I wish that we have the same set up of routine. May the good Lord bless you and your vocation.
Thank you Trevor and your team for the tour of your daily life at the Seminary. That was amazing, I enjoyed every minute of the video. Praying for you and more vocations.
Thanks Trevor for sharing. I am blessed to be part of a Seminary School here in Canada. Praying for you and other Seminarians, Deacons, and Priests/Nuns. Foundations of Theology and Introduction to Philosophy.... these are 2 of my favorite subjects. Also praying for Vocations, that more people will answer & respond to our Lord's calling to Priesthood and Nuns.
I am a woman from the Netherlands and i am following your channel. I am learning alot. This video helpt me to understand what you do as you do the seminary becoming a priest. I liked the prayer before the workout....thanks for your dedication. I love the Lord and i can see that you do too.
Hi Trevor, Thank you so much for sharing a day in your journey. This process helps many people , of all religions , into the process.I hope I will see more videos as your progress. May God bless you.
Thank you for this glimpse into your seminary experience. You and all your fellows appear to be fine men. You pray even more than I do and I thought I was at "pro level"! Thanks again!
In my youth I thought that I had a vocation. I had the chance to study at the Vatican and I said no. It's the one regret in my life. Thank you for your dedication to THE Church.
Excelente, le felicito por poner corazón a sus estudios seminaristas, y por presentar a la juventud una cara diferente y joven de los que hace un chico, común en un seminario
Trevor, I really enjoyed your video - all the way through! It took me way back to when I was a minor seminarian, at St. Edward's Seminary, in Kenmore Washington (now, a State Park). That was in 1962, and all the prayers were in Latin! God bless you in your daily routine, as a seminarian. You will truly become a real special and wonderful "Alter Christus!" You are close to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to his dear Blessed Mother, Mary! Peace, joy and happiness, Brother Charles Pratt, O.H. (Order of Hospitaller, St. John of God Brother)
@@thomashogan4908 I wish I had known him, Tom! I'm sorry to know that your family had lost your dear friend, Br. Gabriel! What Province and country was he in? In January of 2,015, we former Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd Fused with the St. John of God Order, and a new Province was formed: Province of the Good Shepherd in North America. That includes Albuquerqque, New Jersey, Miami, Momence, Il. (where I am), Hamilton, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario. RIP, dear Br. Gabriel. Thank you, Thomas, and may our dear Lord be with you and keep you! Peace and joy, Brother Charlie
@@froggiechar Hi Brother. He died in Los Angeles at the OH Brother's home there. I am the oldest of a large Irish Catholic family and this month we have had funerals, weddings, and a baptism coming up. Thanks to God they are all within the grace of the Holy Church. Br Gabriel would have been with us through all. So sweet of you to respond to me. The Eucharist sustains all. Peace Brother. Tom
@@skwalka6372 I’m praying for you. Idk what life circumstances led you to believe this was but I truly am sorry. The belief in the divine is not a illogical belief rather I think it is the most logical. All of creation show the absolute need for a creator. Every rock and every cell every intricate detail in all of creation can’t help but scream loudly that this couldn’t have just been happenstance. Anyway I’m praying that you’d see the loving gaze of the Father and realize that His arms are open wide to you. He loves you. God bless!
This is awesome 👍 Thanks for sharing how you spend your day . Quite intense. May the lord give grace to take each day . May find success in your endeavors to serve humanity in priesthood 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Bendiciones Trevor.
Fr Atian, thank you for your love and devotion to bringing up the next group of priests, whom we truly need. I pray for priests daily, or try to, as I know prayers are doubly needed for the priest. God bless and thank you Trevor for this video. Interesting the insight to a day in the life of... (on the silly side, whats up with today' priests being health buffs (Fr Schmitz, etc.)... staying healthy is good).
No matter what people say just go ahead i pray for you and your friends in seminary that you'll get the strength to endure the obstacles in your life God bless you always seek the help of Mother Mary.. 🙏
