Only advice for breast feeding is to remove any distractions if you can! I nurse my 5 month old right before I put her down for her nap (she doesn’t fall asleep while nursing) then im able to set her down and get her to sleep fairly quickly! But removing distractions is tough with other kiddos 😅

I love flying its so fun i have 7 kids and me and my husband took our newborn triplets on a trip and my mom took care of the other kids while we were gone it was fun we went to disneyworld

I've breastfed three kids for a total of 8 years and it's totally normal (and at times very frustrating!) for them to get distracted as they become more curious about the world around them. It can help to switch rooms to somewhere with no distractions (tv, siblings, phones etc). Teething can also be a cause for letting go of the latch, for some because it might feel new and weird and for some babies because they use it to sooothe their gums. Some babies make up for it with increased night time feeds instead for a period. :) Usually it will pass.

About not latching for too long: is he latching more often then? Normally they do or will latch more often or longer at night. Can be just a Phase 🙏 Also with his brothers around I guess he turns around a lot to see what they are doing. If possible here and then maybe find a quiet place 🙏

Hi, I have a girl one week younger than Lincoln (my 3rd child) so I love watching your vids. They spur me on. It's fun to see someone with baby same age. Thanku for sharing real life. You're an inspiration. My girl does short BF feeds during day too (distracted by anyone else in the room). Loves to feed to sleep. I struggle to get her to nap especially when there's two others to juggle. I'm trying to get other sleep associations going with a teddy, same storybook and songs. Sickness always sets sleep back. All 3 kids just done with chickenpox. All the best starting solids. Its fun to see them try food and their expressions but yeah more work. Its gotta be done though! Happy 6 months🎉

What are your plans for like milk supply while on the trip? Will you be pumping ? I am so happy for you btw. Every mama I believe needs alone time and just time to recharge and unwind . One day I hope to be able to do that. Love the shoes and clothes ❤

I don't have a milk stash so he'll being using formula. We're going to try the Bobbi formula :) and then i'll be pumping during the trip! Thankfully I have the willow pump so i can use it anywhere! & Thank you soo much! ❤

I’m going through the same issue with my 6 month old girl not latching for long. 😩 she gets super distracted too! And now since she’s not getting enough calories in the day, she is waking me up almost every 1-2 hours to eat at night 😭 I’m hoping solids will help or maybe feeding in a quiet dark room.

I have two kids and by this age both of them didn't drink for long from my breast. it was just like a couple of minutes and then they got distracted by some noise or something, so I just had to feed them many many times a day... I stopped breastfeeding my first child at the age 2.

If you ever go for another baby, I don't know if you've ever heard of the baby girl diet... It is a high-calcium and low-sodium diet. It is best to be followed (by the female) a few months leading up to conception. This shall make the outer layer of the oocyte to have a rather positive chemical load, favouring female sperm cells. If I remember correctly. The diet is hard to do as it causes salt cravings, but if there is good fertility one might not have to endure it for very long. My cousin has 5 sons. He was sad because he really wanted a girl, even more than his wife. I really think that runs in families because my one side of the family tree is almost blue and the other side nearly pink. Like, my uncle from the pink side had 5 daughters. But I think your family is wonderful as it is 💙💙💙💙
