I’m not a mom. I don’t even have a boyfriend. Your videos make me sure I’m not scared of creating my own family one day. Even though I don’t agree with you about some stuff (like sex before marriage) you are a great example of a woman I want to become one day. It’s so nice to see, how different life we have, even though you are only one year older than me. Stay strong. You are doing a great job. Btw. I’m so excited you’ve moved. Sarah, I love how you have managed to reflect Gods example of a church through videos like this. What I mean by this is, through this video you have created fellowship with a community by living real life yet rounding it out with real talk about real topics and relating them back to Gods word. I totally hear you on the night shift life. My husband has the weirdest schedule (lots of deployments) so I spend months away from him, and then months constantly with him. It's a weird schedule to be sure, and I miss him like crazy when he's gone... but I feel like I accomplish so much in our time apart from one another that it's certainly a blessing in disguise! And I love what you said about influence. I'm not sure what kind of parenting style you want to try to emulate more, but I always found Ellen Fisher here on youtube really inspiring in how she parents her kids. I hope to be that kind of mom one day soon. :) Thank you so much for sharing bits and pieces of your life with us Sarah! ❤️

Loved this. And basically almost crying there at the end listening to you talk about influence. Needing this reminder all the time! I've always loved this quote: "“Speak to your children as if they are the wisest, kindest, most beautiful and magical humans on earth, for what they believe is what they will become. - Brooke Hampton" I'm also reminded of this when I hear other people talk to their children and I wonder, is that what I sound like?! Making this mama cry today... It's been a rough day with baby refusing naps and lots of whining and I found myself getting so frustrated with him. Sarah, I just wanted to quickly share how you have inspired me today. I hope you read this. I am a 20-year-old Christian young woman with a fiancé. I have been low-key stressing about how to balance my life once we get married and when we decide to start a family. How do I raise my kids? How do I implement minimalism when I have kids? Can I work and be a stay at home mom? How do I get in regular Bible study with kids, etc. etc.? Even just this video is giving me such hope for ideas on how I can do all of this. It is so encouraging and uplifting and I pray that God blesses your efforts, your channel, your children, your relationship with your husband, your household, and the fruits of your labor ❤️

Love day is the life videos! Apparently our 1 year old son does, too - he watched the entire thing with me, which is extremely rare considering how busy he is. Haha I also really resonated with the ending. That is something that has been on my heart as well, and I’ve talked about it quite often with my husband. As mamas, we play such a huge role in our children’s lives. And I always told myself that I would never be impatient with our son, and I thought that would be easy since I considered myself a pretty “patient person”. I was wrong. Sometimes we don’t realize how much we struggle with sin until a situation arises that brings it out of us. Motherhood has shown me just how impatient and self centered I truly am. And I praise God for gradually stretching, pruning, and growing me in these areas, but it still a daily struggle. I can only pray that when my children grow up, they will call me blessed. Proverbs 31:28

I've been realizing the same things too with my little guy, who's name is actually Timothy because of the Timothy in the Bible! What is on your heart is so relevant to my life right now. I agree with everything you said. I recently joined a woman’s ministry group at a local church and we have been talking about “the bad girls” of the Bible. I’m learning a lot about the word and myself. My Bible character who I’ve really admired lately is John the Baptist. I think that the way that he acted in the role that God gave him, and the way he acted towards Jesus is really amazing. He was very well known and had a decent amount of followers. When people asked him if he was a reincarnation of famous prophets he responded that he was simply a voice preparing the way for God. He never took credit, and he always put Jesus first. John even urged his own disciples to leave him and follow Jesus instead. And this was not just a strange man that God told John was his son, this was John’s cousin, and if it were me, that would have been hard for me to swallow. But John always allowed Jesus his rightful place. I’m 19 and I loveeee your videos, and hope that you do more Bible segments at the end like the one in this video! You really inspire me. 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Sarah~ I am new to your channel...I am not sure how I stumbled on to it but now I am really hooked and enjoy it. While I am a middle-aged woman (50s) without any children, I am a Christian woman, who strives to live life simply. I am moving towards a minimalist life style (work in progress). I enjoy eating healthy, I like coffee and many of the things you enjoy too!! I also clean my home with non-toxic ingredients, so I enjoy seeing how you keep your home clean and tidy. I think it is wonderful that you married young and are a young stay at home mother with 3 beautiful children. This was something I wanted when I was young but it didn't seem to work out for me. Fortunately, I married late in life. Keep up the enjoyable videos and know that you are doing many things right with your beautiful children- feeding their bodies healthy food and feeding their souls with positive things and love is a great start. I'm sure with the love of two parents and a strong support system, your children will thrive. In the meantime, keep up the enjoyable vlogs....I like the healthy habit videos and make up tips. I am a licensed but not practicing Esthetician so I have a few skin care products I love and might recommend you give a try.
