Are you licensed cause I’m curious if you can be employed as an unlicensed nail tech, I mean I know you can work for yourself but in shops can be different, it’s great that your doing big things at such a young age though

Hi! It really depends on ur state, but in general you can work as a tech self employed without a license, even tho technically ur not supposed to do it for money. But any salon would require a license, as well as 400-800 hours of an accredited nail program or apprenticeship :)

I actually was obsessed with nails when i was younger and I couldn't always go to the nail salons so I taught myself how to do them. & I also just practiced on myself!
