Hello everyone, how are you doing today. welcome and welcome back to my channel, if we are meeting for the first time, I am Sarah Pedun a very passionate farmer, today I'm taking a break from my garden that is in Kampala. I am in Soroti city and in today's video I'm going to share with you a day in the life of a young village couple in Soroti, Uganda, East African.

Who wouldn't shade a tear after watching your remarkable portrayal of the interconnectedness and interdependence of human beings and non human beings - living in harmony. I froze your video at 0.10 and saw it all, tears and all. The icing on the cake is with the mighty tree literally saying: "Well, you think you know it all, but without my oxygen and nutrients, you would not be here, and then it proceeded to protect humans like a hen protects its chicks from elements. Beautiful compound and environment. Next time please advice Fiona not to grind the mung beans(Echoroko). The covers are very nutritious. Also, they should learn to soak all legumes(preferably overnight), prior to cooking. Thank you.

Great videos. It's so sad seeing young boys and girls getting into early marriages. I am sure that young girl(Fiona) had dreams and aspirations. Please stop early child marriages and empower boys and girls.

I was shocked that they were married, I'm trying ways to win over my community and I talk to them. This time, I got sanitary pads for the girls and shared a little with them. I'm trying to win them over and bring awareness to them.

Please advice them to build a kitchen for cooking. They should not cook under the tree. They are destroying the tree and the environment.😮

Are they speaking in a Luo language? The rhythm of the language sounds like Luo, but I cannot hear enough words to tell.

Thank you, @@sarahpedun8769 . Apparently, Kumam is indeed a Luo language with lexical similarity with Acholi. It sounded like Luo. I should understand at least part of it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumam_dialect They say that Kumam has borrowed from, Teso and other Ateker languages.. The people also look very Luo, especially you. 🙈

Ha! I am an Iteso but I understand Kumam, can't speak it but I speak langi.
