So I have to admit that I am SO pro motherhood no matter what stage in life you are living. Having said that, I think you would be an UH-MAZING mother. If you put half the energy into raising a child that you put into your business? There is no way you could be anything but wonderful at it. I am a graphic designer and I can say that watching your vids are inspiring. Interior design and graphic design share so many principles and I love to watch you speak about business as well. I am new to your channel and have subscribed but I was INSTANTLY addicted to your style and views. I have been binge watching your vids and am so excited to see new vids pop up in the bell. Keep up the hard work and will be watching with anticipation for baby news.

Karin loved you're video 💕 I think it's very truth where you said "Business requires a lot of male energy" I for example have a small construction business & I can tell you how many times man whom are more in the construction industry try to take advantage of me, I got tired of trying to be stepped on & played my role. While working sitting on my desk I listen to you're videos & you have amazing advice & you're girl boss attitude pushes me to work harder, thank you for that & please more videos on entrepreneurship!

Hi Alondra! It makes me so happy to hear that you get a lot of value from my videos! Thank you so much for watching. I can only imagine how difficult your role can be sometimes. Good for you for being a women in a very male-dominated industry. I think that's amazing!! xK

Probably one of your most insightful videos yet Karen! I really enjoyed watching this as you spoke about something many of us who run a business think about. For me (as you mentioned as well), the biggest growth for my company has been the last 10 months. I run a tech company full time with a team of 20 and outside of that I am a Judo/BJJ athlete. We tripled in the last year which is crazy. Considering I started the company at 22 and just turned 28 this month - I feel farther and farther than I ever felt from the concept of motherhood or even having a family really. Yet I feel closer and closer to my business and the skills I developed as an athlete. So I completely agree to your point that once you hit the growth, it doesn't get easier, it's not going to go away. As long as you keep nurturing it - its gonna stay and only get bigger and bigger. One of the challenges I am controlling for right now is keeping our growth in check by controlling our capacity as I don't want to be constantly hiring. Quality over quantity. Also in my business, I am at the computer 24/7 unless I am in the dojo. I can't take vacations or trips or half days off to do whatever as the projects are highly technical and complex and the team & the clients need support regularly. So based on that - the concept of motherhood completely does not make sense. Thanks again for the great video! Glad to feel some of us are not alone.

Hi Julia! Thanks so much for watching my video and happy belated birthday! It sounds like your doing amazing with your business and from what you said, it certainly doesn't like the right time to have a family. I definitely went through that. And now that I'm getting a little older (I'm 36) I'm much closer to wanting to have a family. I don't think that there's ever the "right" time, but I do think that there are times that are better then others! I will keep you posted ;) Thanks so much for watching this video and for your comment. I'm so happy that you're part of this community! xK

I really like the comment you added about male and female energy. I also believe that some malelike attitudes are need as a woman in business. It's somewhat sad but nonetheless the truth.

Hi Areli! It is so true!! Business requires you to be tough and competitive, even aggressive sometimes! Women are naturally more supportive, giving and community oriented, which is why we can struggle in business sometimes. That said, I think both sides can benefit from learning from each other. Thanks for watching this video - I really appreciate it and thanks for your comment! xK

Fantastic video Karin! I haven't commented in a while but I just love when you do videos about entrepreneurship. You are such an inspiring girlboss. As a startup, I keep thinking that it will get a little easier as I get more settled or once I know more and grow more. It's sobering to know that it never gets easier and it's always a hustle and you are always learning. I wish your videos were longer :) Please continue to do more entrepreneurial videos. Can't wait to see more! - Star

Hi Star! Long time no talk!! Thanks for commenting on this video :) It's so true that it doesn't get easier. What I've learned is that as your business continues to grow, you encounter new problems to solve and issues to deal with. It's never ending! I'm so excited that you're loving the entrepreneurial content. I'll definitely be doing more!! Thanks for watching. xK

So i was in the architectural field for 10yrs. Long story short, i got fired when i got a baby, they were trying to find a reason to fire me for months while i was pregnant and when they couldn't they said i was no longer "smart enough" to do the job i was doing for years. But i would not trade in my babies for the world and i am starting my own business, so it all worked out.

Hey Karin, really love your vlogs. What would u say, how can a young person, who has just finished his studies know wheather he is the right material for enterpreneurship? What are the personal qualities that u must have in your opinion. 😊 Thankkksss. Kind regards.

HI it is Kimberly -- one piece of advice for women out there- NEVER have children- I never did and never regretted it.I am a professional artist, fifty four and look like a YOUNG thirty six!! (WHY? --NO CHILDREN, NO HEADACHES!) I am happily married I am VERY busy creatively, and have the BEST children: FUZZY pet children, who show you unconditional LOVE every day! ... real children are too much of a hassle and headache for twenty one years of your life EACH. Just a piece of advice, think it over or wait until you are in your forties to do so once you can retire early. One will NEVER have time for parenting and business.

This is sad. Good for you. Many women CAN be a great mother and be great in business. What a very negative way to see things. Good thing you didn't have children. Poor things
