@Angelo Bobby Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I am a student of DIDC ✌Nice I really appreciate how you are promoting to study the stuff on the day it is taught and also the healthy life which you are living. A perfect life of a medical student thats what I call it.
@@satisfying6840 DDC is a separate campus in saddar beside DMC, DIDC is a separate campus in defense specifically for dentistry, and lastly ojha has dentistry building called DIKHIOS.
Old memories with this university and hostel life ,bring me back every year to visit my hostel and memories which are now just memories stored somewhere in mind , miss thise days back some couples of years
Wow, my brother went to Karachi for the first time in his life, and I asked the douche to check out this college and DOW... idiot went to the hospital and said it’s not like the hospitals that we have in the states... 😂😂😂 thanks for showing what the school looks like from the inside. I’m Inshallah going to start my MBBS this December after I’m done with my masters this summer. So glad it’s clean... this video legit made my day. Thanks guys!!
To any folks outside from Pakistan who are looking at this and thinking, oh this doesn't seem so bad, maybe I should ask mum and dad to send me over here because it's too difficult to get into medschool where I'm from. Don't. Do not. And if you do please don't pick bloody DIMC. A buddy of mine is an alumnus from here and it destroyed him mentally , I'll paraphrase some of the things he's discussed with me. The administration is entirely mismanaged, financial transactions are lost and the onus is on you to make sure you maintain backups of every possible document and transacation because they seem to have the long-term memory capacity of an Alzheimer's patient along with the work ethic of sloth to get anything done in regards to students. The teachers will despise you, day in and day out comparison are made to how significantly better DMC students are to DIMC, any attempts to address this by students are brushed off with a figure it out for yourself attitude while disregarding their own lack of interest when it comes to teaching students as they quiet simply don't care about you and are only stuck teaching you because that's what comes with being a professor. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for Pakistan's draconian attendance policy. You quite frankly do not learn anyhting in classes. It's a glorified one hour session designed to mock you, and you go through that 3-4 time a day for 6 days a week. The hostels are practically a pigsty, workers don't care about doing their jobs and to be fair you can't blame them given how some of the residents of the hostels just make things worse for them but even the so called warden himself is less enthusiastic about fixing it and is more concerned with piling on burecracy on the residents to make things worse for them. I could rant on about this but the dealbreaker about why things went into hell with a handbasket with my friend was that he went for electives abroad. Upon his return, admin caused multiple issues for him because they refused to do any of the paperwork the universities he went to abroad for required. As a result he was written up for lack of professionalism by those instituions because of Dow's inadequacy and was close to having it written up as part of his permanent record were he to head back home and seek employment as a doctor. Thankfully, unlike this place's administration, they actually took the time to discuss his case and the institutes abroad were able to clear him of that charge upon further discussion with my friend. In short, please don't go there. I know medicine is a big part of the South East asian culture given the respect and financial benefits it gives but there are alternativies. If you don't want to go into this field, don't, do a part time job if you aren't commited yet, save up money and do your own thing if your family is unwilling to fund your education, And if you really really want to do medicine, start working hard on it now in the current country . Pakistan might look like a good idea now but in the long term the personal consequences on what kind of effect this has on your mind isn't worth it. Sure you might get the MBBS degree earlier than your Western counterparts but the time it takes to actually get a job back in your homes nullifies that My buddy's doing better now, but god forbid I don't want anyone else to end up like him after going to this place. If you still want to go here I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you come out fine the other side, my rant has nothing to do nor intend to demean any of the students who are currently going through this over there. I understand medical school itself is hellish but this place is on a different level. Just please consider that before you make the commitment on coming here, espcially for those of you in the States as the Board over there has decided to reduce STEP 1's importance in terms of residecny applications and that means everything else becomes important: Research, Electives (not observerships, this term gets swapped a lot with electives), and such. You won't get any of that here. That's all. Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Once again, none of this is meant as an insult towards the students going here. I saw how hard it is for you guys, I know how personally folks from Pakistan take it when their instituitons are insulted (i'm one so trust me I get it). Just.... make sure you make the choice thats best for you in the end. That's all.
Random and More I’m planning to come at January Is there an option for in person or it all just online? I also live in the US and I just need to take SAT Chem
