There is more than just a support, as a PM you are orchestrating the project timeline, managing issues , making decisions, getting approvals, managing stakeholders, get funding and more that are required for the project and project team so that they can focus on the actual work. Thanks for the feedback. Scrum is a framework for Agile methodology. Prince2 is another framework popular in Europe. PMP is for waterfall methodology popular in US. PMP and CSM certification are valuable in project management across multiple domains including in IT

@@niksprojects i am here in the UK . I think they prefer prince 2 here . Or should i do the PMP certification.

Hi both has the same market value, it’s just that CSM aid conducted by ScrumAlliance.org and the PSM is conducted by Scrum.org . You can’t go wrong with either one, I would say CSM is pretty easy to get and it’s open book exam .

Standard for most IT organization

I work as a Product Owner in my IT organization and was considering making the jump to Project Manager. 10-12 hour days happen every once in a while for me, but it's uncommon. I may have to reconsider lol

Agree it’s not a daily thing but when some projects become hectic or towards the busy season few weeks becomes pretty hectic.
