Born in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal fourpiece, influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.
The band’s lineup include Fernanda Lira (vocals & bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), both ex-members of Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitars) who also plays in Cobra Spell and played formerly in the heavy metal band Burning Witches, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitars), ex-member of Hagbard.

O tipo de som não é a minha praia, mas finalmente uma banda nacional de rock que mostra saber fazer um marketing moderno. Interação direta com os fans é tudo hoje em dia! O fan clube é a base de tudo. Espero que outras bandas nacionais sigam o caminho. Vi o show e a banda é excelente!

Loved this rockumentary video about crypta on Nov 20th 2021 porao do rock. Loved how Sonia Narrated and the girls went about their day. It makes me appreciate what they put into each show and their music. Great to see Sonia and taina practicing and all the girls playing and how much fun they had at the airport and hotels 😆. Rock on crypta this was a fun video! Hell yeah! Woo hoo! Echoes of the soul=Death metal triumph!

My new favourite band. Been listening to the Echoes album like crazy in the car and while I do work at my computer. Watched a lot of their live shows as well. There’s something just so inviting about their sound. It has an old school accessibility while still feeling modern and fresh. From what I’ve read online, all four (five - Sonia/Jessica) have fairly diverse backgrounds. Or at least diverse as far as different metal sub genres are concerned. So I think it brings something interesting to their song writing style.

Do you need a 5th member? I used to shred back in the day, more into theory and composition now. I am 53 years old, though, with a wife and two kids, but we could make it work. :) Seriously though, you have it all going for you, highly talented and lovely to boot. Completely different style of music, but you remind me so much of my favorite band The Warning. Sweet and goofy off stage, and you transform into rock monsters on stage. Love it!
