Featuring 'Adiela' and 'Rock Climber'
(With many thanks to Ryan Lamb for access to the sheds this morning for lighting Adiela and his help during the day)
Today I have spent the day at Lakeshore Railway. It was a very cold, windy day -as you will be able to tell, and very challenging filming conditions. At 10:05 you can see Adiela's fire being lit and being prepared for use. By 11:00, enough steam was raised to move off, by which time Rock Climber was out shunting the civil engineering train. By 11:30, Adiela was pulling trains. For part of the day, Adiela ran clockwise with passengers whilst Rock Climber ran anti-clockwise with the engineering train. Rock climber arrived at the sheds, waiting in one of the shed roads whilst Adiela passed by with a train. At around 14:00, Adiela had a mechanical failure so Rock Climber took over. Enjoy!
