Calcifer has grown up so well 🥺 I remember back when he was a tiny itty bitty kitten. So glad that he has people who love him so much, a warm home and good food
Two months ago, my beloved cat, Hobi, had a horrible accident and passed away. I miss him like crazy. When you said “who knew you could love this much” it’s sooo true!! Cats, pets in general, make our hearts bigger and it’s just so amazing to see our capacity to love become so big for our furry friends. I miss Hobi so much and Calcifer’s vlog made me think of him and miss him even more because they are just so lovely. I hope Calcifer has a long, healthy life 💜💜💜💜💜 he’s such a sweet boy
Well it's basically liver or chicken paste with a flavorless active ingredient. So from the cat's POV he's basically getting a daily pet treat. I think the anticipation of waiting for mom to finish brushing & flossing actually makes him more excited. What I've never seen is a cat that actually likes having their belly rubbed THAT vigorously. Most cats will slice your arms off if u just gently touch the No-Go zone!
This video melts my heart. How did we live without them? I have had my cat for two years and I can't imagine life without her. Calcifer is a bundle of furry fun and thank you for sharing him with us!
You are so right about the unimaginable love they bring into our lives, and about the immense privilege it is to live in their world for a time and to be caregivers for them. I hope you and Califer have a long and beautiful life together. My baby girl Simone is missed and her presence felt every day. I'm still not okay without her, but watching you give so much love to Calcifer is a huge comfort. P.S. Thank you for feeding him wet food and brushing his teeth - both are so important for his health. You are an awesome feline mama. And that toothpaste must be gold.
I adopted a young male orange tabby about two months ago, and he's easily the best thing to ever happen to be. He's also a bit of an trouble-maker, but nothing uncontrollable.
i moved out to university last week and i’m really missing my cats. this cheered me up, calcifer reminds me a lot of my cat gus! i almost cried at “who knew you could love so much.” my family has three cats but one of them is like MY cat, and she’s very timid and weird. i love her to death and i’m afraid she’ll hide all the time and not get the attention i want her to have. i know my family will take great care of her, but i also know none of them love her with the same intensity i do. missing her lots and glad calcifer has such a happy home :) thanks for the video!

thank you so much for this awesome feline content. I grew up with a couple of cats, one of whom we rescued as a kitten and was very much "my" cat - Monty. As an adult I've yearned to have another cat but my life has not been safe enough for one - until recently, but I'm not able to have one in the flat I'm living in right now. So this felt a bit like what it is to be silly with a wonderful cat and I thank you for that! Calcifer seems like the ultimate buddy, so friendly and cute! I'm sure he feels privileged to have such a wonderful, attentive and caring human friend :)

Good on you for brushing Calcifer's teeth! I didn't know how important that was until my cats were too old to train. They're both advanced seniors now, so they would never put up with it, but I intend to start my next cat(s) young! I did, however, know to play with their paws regularly, so that nail trims aren't too scary for them. It's one of my biggest pieces of advice to new pet owners. I worked at a vet for a few years and participated in some truly traumatic nail trims, so I'm VERY INSISTENT now that people play with their pets' paws!

omg look at him washing his tail 😭🧡 this is the most wholesome thing ever. my heart is happy. my cat used to wake me up at random times (between 3 and 5 am) because he was bored, but that stopped when i adopted two more kittens. now he has them to play with.
I never knew that cats understands humans so well, can be trained and loves to be around humans before Cal. I've had two cats before (even more, but I don't really remember them) and they were quite snobbish and loved to be alone minding their own business. The frisky little lady who are with us now always follows my mom. She's too playful and won't let us leave if started. She understands quite well too. Truly such a delight to look at ❤
I don't know if you watch Rachel and Jun's videos, but the way you let Calcifer sniff everything reminds me so much of Jun cooking with their cats watching, it's sweet that you all include your cats into such daily tasks 🥰
