I love how in so many videos, Clef is portrayed as quite slim and the roughly the same height as all the other doctors (the latter occurring in this video), when in reality, he’s 5’3 and built like a tank.

According to 4231 the reason Clef's face cannot be photographed is because the Foundation kept bothering him, asking him about what happened at the Montauk house, trying to photograph him and film him.. even though he kept asking them to stop because it was too traumatising for him to talk about. So he made them not being able to do so as he's also a reality bender in that canon.

Seeing Dr. Clef having a "relationship" with SCP-173 is something that I would repair my mind after thinking about it.

Working with Clef sounds like a nightmare

Dr. Clef and Dr. Bright are both quite lucky that they are so valuable to the foundation otherwise both of them would have been locked in a cell a long time ago but you have to admit hanging out with either one of them would be absolute amazing fun

Clef is anomalously persuasive, violent, and terrified. Terrifying of what? I have no clue, but no one goes outta thier way to build an outward persona (in this case an exceptionally bombastic one) unless they're desperate to avoid being caught when vulnerable.

Seeing Dr. Clef and SCP 173 reminded me of a saying; love is rare and this video proves it to me and more than I have a feeling that SCP 173 prefers to be anywhere except with dr Ukelele, that is, Clef

I would not be surprised if, in some SCP movie adaptation, both Dr. Bright and Dr. Alto Clef is gonna become villains for the anti-heroes at the SCP Foundation to fight against.

Another thing Dr. Bright is not allowed to do: No using Dr. Clef is allowed to as an excuse. You don't need a sacrificial d-class to live and you are absolutely not allowed to join Dr Clef's ukulele performance again. I can imagine Dr.Clef being absolutely ripped from all that exercise and looking more like someone who trained in the army then a researcher.

I wouldn't think Dr. Clef to be the devil. But he definitely is something. If anything he has a much better chance of being the god Loki. His personality is quite similar to Loki's. He kills for fun, is an extreme narcissist, a master of disguise in every possible way, and is very intelligent. All things that Loki also is. And it's possible that he really was a part of opposing organizations in the past. However I don't think he's an SCP in hiding. But rather a being that while deserving of the classification, likely predates the foundation itself, and was simply never called an SCP. I also don't think he's tormenting SCP-173. It's a being that was theorized to demand attention from others. It loves killing more than anything. But it also hates being ignored. If anything Clef gives it the attention it wants. Even if it can't kill him for walking away when the date is over for the week. I also have a hard time believing the Foundation doesn't have a way of dealing with Clef's killing that makes him far more manageable. I mean, and average of fifty murders a day of both staff and D-class. There's just no way they could replace that many researchers and D-class daily, unless they have a way of replenishing both quite easily. I'm thinking that there's either a form of cloning in place, or Clef's own powers simply allow him to replace people. Perhaps it's like the pit where bodies were found in of people who were replaced in reality after being dropped in. If that's the case, anyone Clef kills on site is simply reset in reality every time he does. Possibly constantly shifting their roles from D-class to junior researcher and other things without them ever knowing. Ergo it's possible he's actually keeping the souls of his victims in a constant loop of daily killing and resurrection, and only the 05 council knows the truth, and are simply doing this as a way to both contain and use him.

Id like to think to myself that the "Smoke on the Water" he played on the ukulele was not the one by Deep Purple, but the WW2 version by Bobwills and his Texas Playboys just due to how spontaneous Dr. Clef is.

I think Dr. Clef practices smiling in the mirror because he can see, and switches his faces look in the mirror. So he starts switching the objects his face looks like and practices. But it’s just that only he can see it in a mirror, and he just doesn’t have control over it when he’s photographed. Just a theory.

See, you don't have to LOOK at SCP-173 for it to not move. You have to give it your UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. The implications this gives about Dr. Clef are ludicrously impossible.

What’s fun about the scp universe is that it truly is infinite! I like to believe Dr. Kleff is a fill in the blank character, so fluid he could be anything. An angel, devil, alien, or older than the universe. Even “God” is in his debt.

Jeez I can't imagine how traumatic his relationship with his ex-wife ended for him to be doing this.

You know, I often think of the Joker when I read about Cleff, but then I remember that he didn't just have a bad day, his life itself was horrible. His mother was a cultist of the Scarlet King, Lily, perhaps the only one who was a comfort during his youth, also became a cultist of the Scarlet King and abused him to the point where in order to free himself a little from her, he accepted one mission after another of the GOC, just to be able to escape from it. Cleff is not crazy, he is simply a broken man, too broken and in fact his only consolation in life is knowing that his daughter is alive and well, because when she was born he realized that she would be the most important thing in his life, even More than Lily, that was what ultimately gave him the strength and determination to kill her.
