Dear Representative Carney; Thank you for the video. You had a busy day! The video is a step in the right direction in government accountability. Now if we can only continue along in this direction. Sincerely, David Vineberg
I feel like I can do this. And probably do a better job. All you need is some common sense a good moral compass and the desire to help your fellow man.
+The Independent I'm 16 and I want to be a congressman, I've been influenced by Bernie to be an honest politician. We definitely need to get money out of politics. Hopefully he wins the presidency and we can follow through on this political revolution.
+Jose E. Perez Combine that with a law degree, and I think that might just do it. Unless I'm forgetting some other requirements, that should be it. Seem like there would be more to becoming part of Congress.
Manny Debarge Yeah, I guess I should have put in there that that was my personal preference. Then again, this could have been posted before I knew that and I actually did believe it.
He took a vote - the most important thing a representative can do for his/her constituents.. He offered a speech in order to help sway constituents towards agreeing with his view on a subject. There were also numerous meetings that he attended in order to prepare for future votes and bill proposals.
He probably has a wife at home and it’s better to take the train to and from then stay in Washington since it’s not far. Also the “tell Martha” thing is probably Sen. Carper’s wife so it’s just nice to keep other people’s family members in your thoughts
