Today we finished up the 57 beetle, the oil pressure issue was solved with a new and larger oil pump. We also started planning and working on the 68 Double Cab in a serious way, placing a big order to get a bunch done on it.

Love the previous "fix" for the throttle pedal! Definitely something to keep! I haven't seen one used like that before. I did have a split bus back in the day with very worn throttle linkages (under the floor) and couldn't get new parts. I found rods from a whirlygig rotary clothes dryer were just the right diameter and let me get full throttle again!!

All the parts for the throttle linkage are available now- except that part that's missing it seems. Naturally lol

I can tell just from the sound of your voice you’re really happy with that oil pressure fix 😁 could use some plaid travel luggage on that rack 👍🏻 ahhhh the double cab ❤ Hey, isn’t the yellow Ghia about done? That throttle pedal license plate fix is all hillbilly. I see it all the time on other car channels 😂 CU mon yawna

Yes, very happy that took care of the oil pressure, I REALY didn't want to pull that motor! How appropriate that the license plate used in that repair was from the South 😂
