Update after a few days: Phone has a tiny scratch on the screen. I dont know how it happened cause I take care of my phones a lot. If you want to get a samsung, guys put a screen cover. Their screens are VERY sensitive!
Me in the beginning wondering why he is going into settings to change the brightness, later on in the video he finally discovers the quick settings.... beyond powerful
My general motto as a phone sales rep was always to not ask anyone to switch. switching to other platforms, nearly without fail, led to confused, unhappy customers, who had to spend weeks learning how to use the new OS. going either direction. I wish the comparisons between the two brands would stop because the absolute truth is that they are designed for completely different people, who do not share the same values in their phones.
The speaker thing is 100% true. It’s loud but it just sounds really thin compared to an iPhone. That display though…😍 Samsung displays are so much more vibrant and colorful than iPhones. Makes me wanna switch every time I see them lol
Audio through headphones though is a different story and vastly superior on android. I know from using both even the first gen pixel from 2016 sounds more clear than my iPhone 13 with headphones the iPhone is just loud and sort of blurs out certain low and highs in songs
the sound is really good for music if u put it vertically , yes its not as loud , felt like my old s20 fe was louder , hopefully they fix it in the s23 series
Nah, if you know audio, Samsung is better. Loud is not equal to better sound lol. Samsung bought AKG and its speakers have a more balanced sound. Headphone sound is also better in Samsung. It has its own scalable codec and has AKG and Dolby sound
The main issue with people that switch from an iPhone to the S22 for example, is that they use the phone with stock settings, like an iPhone. My brother switched to a Note10+ a few years back and didn't like it. He switched back to an iPhone and now switched to the S22 ultra, he's been messing with all the settings and now I think he loves it. The thing that new android users don't do is make the phone their own, because they're not used to that.
It actually makes sense. I feel you on this one. My only issues is the fact that I have a few apple things around the office and makes things super easy for me. Its just out of convenience.
@@andresvidoza I definitely understand the whole apple ecosystem thing but I would say that the samsung ecosystem is very good, not up to apple level yet but I personally think the small compromises are very worth it in the long run.
For me this is the reason I switched to apple everything is Convenience. Windows to Mac OS was my latest. I use to be into customizing a lot and setting up my phone or computer to my style which is really cool. Really is. I use to jailbreak my do all things with my android and mail break my older iPhones. But convenience of not having to mess with settings really sells me. So I switched to all apple and stopped caring about personalizing just didn’t matter to me anymore.
I switched to a Samsung and completely customized it and inevitably went back to iPhone. iPhone is just superior in every way. It does the whole “quality vs quantity “ thing. iPhone doesn’t do as much but what it does do, is far better than Samsung
Useful tips that people forget about: the samsung photo / video editor is extremely robust. Especially with the spen, its really easy to remove backgrounds to make awesome stickers/oled wallpapers etc. I also make tons of meme videos by adding text, croping, transitions, etc with the app too. It's not photoshop or lumafusion level, but when you just need something on the go its super robust. Also you don't need to bring up the Samsung pay in order to pay. Just like iphone if you bring it up to the terminal it'll trigger the default card. You'll need your finger print to unlock it though.
S22 Ultra is next level phone. Far better than other phones now with its Real Premium 'futuristic' features. It's not still in the 20th century now. Technologically improved phone.
Yeah and the Exynos version lags like a vintage Samsung on touchwiz - still after the last patch . Battery life is below average. Next level were the expectations of the fans but the results aren't. The cam, the screen, the design are great but the performance of that phone...
I have an iPhone XS and still works great. I like using the iPhone as it is user friendly, smoothly running on apps I'm using on a daily basis like FB, twitter, IG, tiktok and online bankings. But I also have a samsung s10 5G and this phone is a beast. I use it for gaming and for other social media apps and it works great.
Man, Samsung phones have so many cool features For example. My mom's Note 8 has a feature that when you open a contact and raise the phone up to your ear, it will automatically call the person. So cool 🤙🏾🔥
The S22 Ultra has sooooooooooooo much more usability and productivity options than any iphone. If you compare both test all these S22 Ultra options that you're not getting on the iphone: S-pen, best screen in the world, sound, multi-window, REAL multi-tasking, pro mode camera for images and video, 10 x optical zoom, super slow mode, file-manager, USB-C, inscreen fingerprints scanner, super steady video, 60fps 8K, Super HDR video, super RAW mode, much much better widgets, allways on display, 240 hz touch sensivity, part of the largest and most advances eco-system in the world 'Samsung SmartThings', integration with Microsoft Xbox, integration with Google Stadia, integration with Spotify, Samsung camera features integrated in Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram. Fast charging, reverse wireless charging, fast wireless charging. DEX (convert your S22 into a full fledged computer), Samsung KNOX (two fully seperated sections on your smartphone for private and business use.
False the iphone has a better camera and display according to dxomark. Also iphones have longer software support and the fastest chipset in any smartphone
@@dr.zoidberg4032 Not really according to dxomark the iphone 13 pro max camera and video performs better than the s22 ultra the only thing the s22 ultra did better in is the zoom test
I like Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra so much but I've been still waiting for the next generation of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold ;) With big screen, I'd love to work with S-Pen as well :)
i noticed many apple fans switching to samsung for the past 2 years especially the s22 series, they're taking the highest place in the market now. from my perspectives that's one of the biggest achievement for samsung if its not the biggest one. samsung really did a really good job on producing as close as a perfect smartphone. oh one more thing i want to address, i was an iphone user but right now im so happy watching your nice video using my lovely s22 ultra ✌
Hey great video as always. you can add the brightness slider to the notification pulldown by pulling down twice > 3 dots on the top right > edit quick panel layout > brightness control > always show.
I have the iPhone 13 pro max and I want to get the S22 ultra but can't decide. This video is helping me finally decide and make the jump to the S22 ultra
I have s22 ultra and 13 pro max and can't leave one for the other, i game on the iPhone because the battery is insane the phone does not get warm and the gameplay is so smooth. Also i shoot video only on the iPhone. As for work i definitely prefer my Samsung bigger and brighter screen, the s PEN I prefer consuming social media music and videos on the Samsung. And i Like the photos of the Samsung much more especially the zoom camera and the night photos.
lol, because of the phone size there is setting to go in one handed mode , simply by swiping down on the home button line , if it is not on u can turn it on in the gesture settings...
Dislike when context characters half ass the iPhone vs android experience. Y’all complain about iMessage, FaceTime , airdrop features being a deal breaker , but when doing comparisons yall don’t show the android alternatives. Say can’t do Samsung because of FaceTime when Samsung collaborated with google and integrated duo into Samsung for HD video chat (not mention duo cross platform application). Can video chat clearly from android to android or android to iPhone. Cry about iMessage but Android ppl use "chat" message similar to iMessage . Cry about airdrop, but android have both quick share and nearby feature similar to airdrop . Can quick file transfer from android to window. Ofc switching iPhone to Samsung gone be hard when all your other devices are apple devices . If you gone do a true experience, get tab 8 ultra and galaxy book pro and window desktop and do a proper user experience comparison. Need quit with the apple basis nd do proper Apple phone, tab, laptop , desktop , smartwatch vs Samsung tab laptop desktop smartwatch comparison.
I get your point, and I agree with you but dude, try to understand his point also, Maybe his family and friend circle is using Apple devices, and in that kinda circle its easier to deal with iphone. I am right now now using iphone 13 pro max , before that for 10 years I was using android and to be honest with you I like the iphone but its not fun to use to my taste, so I order s22 ultra and planning to sell my iphone. For me its easier to do because I haven't developed my circle with friends or family with apple devices and thats why after few months I can go back to android. But probably for him its not the case. So for him , facetime, imessage, airdrop is kinda reference point. (Video title clearly said he is apple boy) . And just because he want to try android he cannot changes his friend or family circle lol or ask them to buy android . Thats impractical IMO
@@sk_izsk granted (everything said pertaining to his circle), but the point of all these comparison videos they point out FaceTime iMessage airdrop being a deal breaker and that keep them within this apple wall garden. They try to point out FaceTime like we don’t have plenty of alternatives such ass WhatsApp and Google duo. Now if they do proper android user experience like the title claim then he should be using android or Samsung devices that are compatible together to show a true user day and life. Can’t say these features are deal breaker when you’re trying to use android device alongside iOS products that make no sense and just show basis. The whole argument they make iOS Vs android is the fact iPhone iPad MacBook all work hand and hand (in sync with one another) For instance, that’s like saying android user switch to iPhone for a iOS user experience then try to make a list of examples on why they can’t switch over to iOS because iPhone don’t support RSC messaging , can’t screen mirror to the average smart tv (only selective tv support airplay) , or why can’t do WiFi calling on their Samsung tablet or use link to window pc features to mirror their phone screen on the desktop. Of course not gone be a good switch, not mention you’re misleading customer who aren’t fully knowledgeable on tech and features In conclusion, Saying you switching from one operation system to another then don’t have the compatible devices how is it a true user experience? All I’m trying to point out is if you’re gone do videos like these then they need be more accurate and start calling it social experiment. That’s all they show in these review, how a android or Samsung phone not able to work on their iOS devices or CIRCLES Otherwise is just misleading/basis can’t say one operating system better than the other, only show how iOS devices are compatible to one another, then don’t do the same with Samsung. If it’s a true comparison then it should be ecosystem vs ecosystem If they were truly informing their views then they’ll show popular alternative/cross platform apps They cry about face time when Duo is android to android and android to iPhone , a clear cross platform video application. Can do the whole share screen like FaceTime , duo audio like FaceTime audio , and group video chat like FaceTime. If you want to be stubborn then FaceTime allow android user to join Group FaceTime and FaceTime. Now as far Airdrop & iMessage there android equivalent to those apps and alternative apps. Got quick share and nearby share equivalent to airdrop being a android user. Got RCS messaging and chat equivalent to iMessage if you’re a android user. What alternative vidchat and messaging WhatsApp. And he’s most def a fanboy because he was going in the setting to change the brightness when he could’ve dropped the notification bar , that’s common sense for every smartphone so he already lost me.
@@BancoBlu Yeah Lol, for the brightness part , I was like why dude , why do you need to go to settings for that. Even iphone offers it from notification panel.
@andresvidoza Thank you for making a "real life" video using this smartphone as a phone - you are the only one I've seen do that so far! Every other video spends 10 or 20min showing how to use the "smartPHONE" as a camera and never feature the call quality of the device.
Instagram and Tiktok is more optimized on IOS compared to Android. If you wanna upload a story on your Samsung, use the main camera app and then upload the story, in that way you won't lose quality.
I tried to switch to other android but i couldn't 😂 I got used to the S-Pen to do my work and editing. The multitasking floating window capabilities is my main thing I can easily open 5 app simultaneously at the same time
i just realized you are from montreal!!! i have an iphone 12 pro and i love it but i also love the samsung and especially the display so i picked up an S22 for my work phone number, i really love this device it feels so smooth!!
Schedule your dark mode! Everything you complained about is totally fixable, in Settings or Good Lock! Samsung is just to far ahead for Apple users to catch up....Unless they really want to try....
did u turn on dolby atmos it makes those speakers way better...i just noticed it cuz in many yt videos samsung sound a lot better then i asked my android frd and he helped me out
I'm super late but... if you ever use a Samsung phone again, use Good Lock. Also? Bixby Routines are a MUST (these would've helped you re: brightness in the morning, etc as the routines changes it whenever you tell them to).
I am an iPhone user but purchased the s22 ultra recently. I love the phone but the battery just seems to be dying on me so quickly, despite the fact that my settings are all programmed to preserve battery life. Maybe I’m just used to iPhone’s long battery life but I’ve been losing about 10-15% battery every hour, if not more. I’m only getting 4 hours of on screen time before the phone dies on me. Not playing games or anything intensive. Only texting, calling, basic usage. Unsure what the reason is but I’m concerned with the battery life of the s22 ultra. Am I the only one experiencing this? Otherwise, I really like the phone.
5:45, its because for every andorid phone, instagram has to be optimised differently, and its obvious iphones are never different apart from model and some hardware, so instagram has more time to optimise the story's and other functions more
FaceTime- Google duo , what's app etc . Airdrop - nearby share , quick share only works from Android to Android. For video on social media app optimization is better on ios using regular cam and upload it gives better results... for imessage use anything else
Here is a tip, never warm up your car more than a minute, or else, the more the time you use to warm up, the more damage is done to your car's engine. Since the car warm up itself when you start driving. The one minute warm up is for the engine oil to lubricate your engine only.
How about the transmission oil warming up for a good 5 - 7 mins because that also becomes heavy and then driving metal straight with cold oil in a min after its been in - 20 - 25 over 10 hours I suggest you wait 10 mins you can
Can you please do A video on the apps you use/ your home screen for it because I recently switched from Apple to Samsung and am trying to figure out some good apps because I don't have my apple apps.
