Yes indeed my dear, about 4:30 AM is the normal cat breakfast time. A few years ago I decided to provide food, water and a litterbox in my bedroom and master bath. My two kitties were then content to allow me to sleep. 😁 Wow Echo certainly does love being brushed. One of my cats is part Maine Coon and she hates being brushed which can create a problem down the line so I have to steal a few swipes now and then. The other kitty just loves it. She throws her head back like she's at a spa for the day, closes her eyes and just takes it all in hoping it will never end. It's funny to watch. You are an excellent cat mom and I'd like to commend you for being so thoughtful and considerate. Cats are not like dogs. They have a mind of their own and any good cat parent will allow the feline to take the lead in allowing their individual preferences charter the course of care. To find a man who loves cats enough to let them decide some things on their own is indeed a rare find. Usually men like dogs bc they want an animal that jumps to salute him and follows his commands. lol To find a good cat daddy is to find good husband material. It is my opinion, that man will probably appreciate a woman having a mind of her own as well. I say this after being married to a dominerring man for 25 years and deciding that living under someone's thumb was not living at all. In fact he would not allow me to have a cat and made me get rid of my dog. After our divorce I got my first kitty and it all started to dawn on me why he didn't like cats at all. Just a little food for thought ladies. Your kitties are just beautiful and precious. I started watching your videos when you were about to bring Echo home. Such a cute name indeed. I never get tired of watching cats play, sleep, cuddle...they are so soothing. Currently I have two cats as well. I have always had at least one and up to 3. They are precious. My son built an enclosed area in our yard that they can access through a window so they can have outside time and be safe. Losing a cat to the road is devastating. In addition, we need to keep the song bird population safe from our cats. Gophers is another story though. I wish my cats could manage the gopher population in my garden! Anyway, I loved watching your precious kitties play!

Cheers & Thanks for this "old" video I just saw - we're now in Zurich, Switzerland and also just lost our 1.5yrs-old Turkish angora over a huge truck (a lorry) - our family cried for a week! Yes, we are eyeing on a rag doll or 2 esp. our girls were born in California LOL... but definitely will use the similar harness to walk them AND somehow figuring how to secure our garden here, may be attach them to a pole? We don't have enclosed walls in the back garden of this rental home - our landlord is 1/2 of the house at the back (house cut in 2 and we are at the lower street side)... at 50KG limit in a busier street, our cat def. was in danger! Anyway, love the way you attached them to a "ZIP line" like system :)

It was a complete Joy seeing your beloved puddy's! My son has aspergers and our two darling ragdolls Saffy aka Sapphire and her mum Lacey have helped us ten fold!. As they are indoor cats, our beautiful girls have made our life whole ❤ xxx

Love the perfect start to the video with the cute kitty yawn!! Already watched it once (heehee) now to watch and comment! It was so awesome to see Echo more playful 🥺🥰🤗🙏🏽 I know they do sometimes grow out of it as they get older. Solstice was never a playful baby, but by the time I got my sweet soul, she was 11 weeks and had been abandoned and abused twice. But she loved being a lap kitten and cuddles with me. She was scared of others. I 💯 agree on having my babies indoors because of safety and loved the harness training as a safe way to allow them outdoor time! 😃. I do find it funny watching the trick training🤣 Echo was such a good boy about it but Rory is just like, gimmie woman!! Lol. I also love how Echo sits so regally all the time seemingly observing his kingdom 😆. Then boom! Lol. I totally noticed Rory under the box lid and having Echo with his paws on the edge “holding it down” was like Echo saying, okay Rory, time out for you Mister 😂. Solstice reacted more like Rory when I tried to groom her. Biting at it lol. So glad his eyes are better😃🤗🙏🏽🥰🥺. Perfect way to start my day! Love to you all!!

We are a cat family! We have three cats, a fourth cat if you count my parents' cat, but they keep us on our toes! Our house is turned into a cat home, cat toys, beds, litter boxes, cat trees, cat fountain and food bowels. They are amazing little fuzzballs and we love them!

I have a Ragdoll,he is also harnessed trained and goes out daily,if its windy or rainy he retreats quickly back into the house. When I trained him to wear a harness I always gave him a treat when he came inside,now he's 5 years old and now associates the harness with being outside.I also give him a treat after he has been bushed even if its only for a few minutes...he meows at me when when he wants to be brushed now! really enjoy your cats vlogs..very enjoyable to watch..they obviously enjoy each others company!

I agree the treats are becoming a problem especially with 4 cats, a rag doll 21 years, a Siamese 8 years, a tiny one we call Isis 12 years which was kind of weird when we considered terrorists lol, and a jet black kitty we call Jet 2 years. Happy Birthday Echo.

Hii!! Just a fact.. I wouldn’t recommend washing the food & water with dishsoap or anything that is scented as cats have a really good smelling ability it’s 10x more than humans’!!🥰🥰

Have you neutered your boys? Would you consider breeding them? Rory’s color and markings are spectacular. Do they ever spray, in the house? I am so happy that Echo’s eye infection is gone! He is the sweetest boy!

I love cats so the videos are a joy for me. I think I told you we live on a farm and must have 50 cats and the cutest kittens, both short and long haired. They are all loved and cared for. We found one of our cats run over and we live half a mile from a quiet country road, but it still happens. We were devastated, so a harness is definitely a good idea for you two gorgeous babies. We just "taught" our ragdoll kitten into a harness if you can call it that. We just put it on and immediately took her outside. It was incredible! She looked like she had been in a harness outside all her life. Not that our 1-year-old ragdoll was difficult, per se, but he wasn't immediately comfortable enough to go and explore the world outside the home. We have patches of forest surrounding our apartment complex and it's lovely for the kitties. They adore the nature.

Yes so cute. We have two one just turned two and kitten just over four months both female. One is lilac point and the other blue point. Brushing is so important and the best possible nutrition for their coats and muscles. Always taking some time to play and cuddles as you do.

Ragdoll cats are my new favourite type of cats. I'm going to adopt a cat when my life allows me to as my situation at the moment doesnt allow for one sadly. But as soon as I gain the opportunity to seriously go about giving a cat a good home, I definitely will! Can you adopt Ragdolls in New Zealand does anyone know?

I'm definately with you. I do not allow my cats outside except on a leash and harness, or on a walk in their stroller. Some people don't understand how dangerous it is for cats to run loose. It is ignorante on their part. Veterinarias es usually advise that cats be indoor cats only these days. I broke up a fight when my next door neighbor was at work one day and their cat was attacked in it's own yard by a neighboring cat who got the best of it. It was very scarey to see and hear. Cats can not only be seriously injured in a fight but could end up dying as well. Those nails are indeed deadly weapons. My neighbor's kitty ended up hiding and afraid to come out for a couple of days. When she did, my neighbor was faced with a hefty Vet bill and was told to keep her kitty inside after that bc it was too dangerous outside for cats these days. My last kitty was a beautiful white boy who turned out to be deaf. He got loose one day for just a few minutes when I heard that terrible "warcry" that only cats can make. I ended up with the Vet bill and my boy ended up with a scratched cornea and a cat claw was embeded in his back. Dogs don't fair out any better running loose. My sister had a little poodle that was attacked by 3 dogs that ran loose causing havoc. The poodle had a couple of tooth marks in his abdomen. The next morning he was dead from internal injuries. We had a medium size mixed breed dog attacked by a large dog several years ago. I almost didn't go to the Vet but decided to go after all. I was stuck with the Vet bill and the Vet said if I hadn't brought him in that the bite on the top of his head would have caused an infection taking his life. On the top of his head, it would have prevented gravity drainage which would have caused his head to rot and in turn take his life. I'm like you dear, I love my cats too much to see them suffer, especially when it was due to my negligence, nor can I afford unnecessary Vet bills.

Thank you for this video. Could I ask a couple questions? How do you do your self-care for CFS (like meditation and daily walk, or quiet time) to keep your nervous system calm? And how/when do you do any housework or finance things with 2 kitties? I guess I assume you are playing with them all the time. I’ve had cats my whole life this is just innocent play fighting, for people who think this is real fighting between cats clearly they never seen two cats fight for real and trust me it not a pretty sight their hissing , cats grow 2 size bigger where they puff up into a ball , their back raises and their claws come out and they make so most dreadful noises. These kitties are just having fun and playing.

I'm extremely jealous I love ragdolls as of right now I can't get another cat we've a 12 Yr old cat with kidney disease so wouldn't be fair on him, although as we live in a rural area he goes out on his own he does cuddle with other cats that love close by but he could go down hill fast so deserves to have 100% attention. Unless love on a farm in the middle of nowhere ragdolls shouldn't be let out they have zero road sense and tend to be way to trusting as well as being very distinctive looking cats so high chance somebody would steal so definitely better safe than sorry. You can cat proof fences though if you ever want that extra peace of mind as a just incase somehow get out the harness would still be confined to the garden. 1 option is a rollbar at the top another can add some chicken wire that comes in from the top so if look up they see a barrier. A friend has had a lot of luck with this for her Persian she also hangs string with feathers and things she finds so new scents and toys for her to hunt although she also does the same as you with attaching lead to washing line just her girl still tried to climb the fence.

Hi , i also use thrive cat food , i get it in the tuna as that is all my cat will eat. I also find it expensive, and such a bother to get Amazon always run our, its so do hard to get the tuna. Do you have any problems getting it. Loved watching your cats Rory is such a little rascal. Just love Echo . How did your Reiki treatment go. Xxx😘❤

I was going to ask about that harness until you said it was escape proof and that made me think it might me the same one we have...our monster has escaped twice from his escape proof harness 🙄 I don't know if we didn't put it on right or if he's just really good at escaping 😂😂

Hi! I came across your videos when I was looking to get a ragdoll! I have 2...I went to get one and I had to get his brother aswell!!! Not the cheapest cats to own but I cant imagine without them now...they are blue point lynx...Charlie and Frankie are their names....my 2 aren't quite as laid back as yours but I wonder if it's because they are brothers and they have each other to grow up with. They are just over 6 months and I was wondering if with you having boys if you noticed their tails being greasy? I believe it's called "stud tail" and can be quite common in male entire cats. I also have a brush similar to your slicker brush but it has a button on the back to push the fur out of the brush...its from amazon and can't recommend it enough...I need to find a way to send you pictures of my boys...keep up with the videos it's lovely to see them grow...oh and echo looks a bit darker than before! My 2 always play "fight" I dont stop them unless they get too rough! It's good for them to learn to defend themselves as apparently ragdolls are good at defending themselves.
