It was my first time everything. I had no clue about the video features. I couldn’t tell from the scorching sun. I didn’t know how to access the waveform, peaking and false colour. I am still learning. Apart from that, I can say that I love the camera. It is amazing, small and packed with a lot of features.
@@FATHERHOODINFOCUS Understood. I'm curious though, what made you think all this overexposed footage was worth a post? Was none of it salvageable in post with come grading? Do you have any idea how many stops overexposed you were? Really not trying to be a prick. I'm genuinely curious. I understand the great-looking family part of it. But was there anything else?
For me it is not really about posting for the sake of it. I just wanted to preserve the memory somehow. My kids are growing so fast and I didn’t want to bin it because the footage is overexposed. I shot it in 4k XAVC, C LOG 3. The footage maybe recoverable in the hands of an expert editor. My Mac is over 10 years old and very slow. Just waiting for an upgrade. For me it is still a learning process.
@@FATHERHOODINFOCUS Understood. Thanks for indulging me. I think you’re gonna love the camera. And your kids will be documented well! As they should be. You have a great-looking family. I have an eight month old grandson, so I completely understand. Check out that new M2 MacBook Air. I edited my 4K 10-bit Prores 422 on the M1 MBA for a year and was never feeling like it was a grind. Looking forward to more footage!
@@misterdeity Thank you so much. I am hoping that my next footage will be better than this one. Hope fully the affordable M2 will cut through footage easily. Thank you once again for the suggestion and the critique. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
