Yorkshire has something more interesting to offer than main line trainspotting: a ride behind a steam engine on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. You can't go to Yorkshire without visiting the NYMR, which is as you know a preserved railway.

From where I live the NYMR isn't exactly easy to get to by train, it would have to be a weekend trip if I went to the railway
