beautiful. I'm making a game that is similar to this, but it's 2D and it has people and architecture. I would love to know how you did 3 views, was it 3 separate renders?
Thanks! It was indeed 3 separate renders. For the rotating one I left out the clouds and for the top down one, I replaced all the model instances with flat shaded spheres.
You should add some sort of way for the terrain itself to change over time. Very very slowly. Then have it alternate between simulating at super high speeds at a really coarse time step/simulation detail (estimate based on data to speed it up if you need) and real time. So it alternates between real time and geological time.
