$5000 AUD, 6 hours travel time, sweating waiting to be picked up by boat and cars, going through customs, greetings, unpacking, catching your breath, gearing up to go out, paddle out, wait in the line up for ages, and your wave is approaching fast .... and all just so some other tourist decides to drop in on you !?! Wow... yeah lovely.
Thanks for watching the video. Yes a Mentawai boat trip is an expensive trip and surf travel to remote areas isn't for everyone. Personally I avoid the playgrounds region because of the crowds. Although some guests request to go there. Plenty of other areas are less crowded if your willing to explore. Sounds like you had a bad experience on your trip, did you already try a boat trip or did you visit a land camp. Cheers Luke 🤙🤙
@photobossbali did 4 boat trips in early 2000s and built a holiday house near bankvaults in 2010 - and that's with needing to travel 46 hours from SA to get there and watching rising crowd numbers over the last 20 years. You can't moan about the ments 😂

@@photobossbali Maybe just have no music. Go and record some general surf sounds and make that your soundtrack. Lots of surf channels do that and it works well. I don't understand why people think they need music. great footage though. I enjoyed it. (With the sound off haha!)
