I am from Odisha, I have eaten many varieties of mango. But I still love the local varieties and small mangos. Also love mango chatni abd ripe mango curries.
There are many normal prices mangos in India. India has some 1500+ varieties of mango with 1000+ commercially grown. I am from eastern part of India. So throughout my childhood, I had eaten local varieties which are much much cheap compared widely own varieties of mangoes. Always 4 to 5 mangos after lunch at home.
Good quality and good work of supplying mangoes. I am also producing both Kesar and Alphonso versions. If you can share your contact information for commercial purposes.
What the person who bought 20 boxes said is that he'll make Aamras( Mango pulp + added sugar), put in containers and freeze it. Then he just has to remove it from the freezer and wait for it to melt and he can have aamras whenever he wants with puri or roti.
I never begrudge paying for quality. I missed out this year but thanks to you, I won't next year and I'll make sure I'll tell the guys it's because of your channel I was aware of them 👍
I was relishing an alphonso in india while i came across this video, the king of the fruits indeed, i just imagine how 18 th century people must have tried to get this to england,
*From my experience the best mangos I have ever EATEN was in BRAZIL last summer, there they grow every were, in car parks , trees in the shopping mall....amazing it was 😊*
Sir, you bought 3 boxes of mangoes and one box coconuts straight away for one time from the indian fruits - vendor at the London it's a sympathetic shopping👍👋 great Job and God bless u
Yes they are there this year. Please do say hi to the guys from me if you do decide to visit. (Btw, I've just recently recorded a video there which i'll be publishing tomorrow morning). 🙏🏽
I'm from Kolkata , India . Due to Pandemic caused by notorious Covid 19 , here in Kolkata , we can't get Hapus / Alphonso mango , this year. It is astonishing to me , that , the same is selling by the seller of London's suburban area. How it will reach London , when air service was stopped ? Anyway, the buyer's r very fortunate. But storing in a deep fridge , to have it year round ,is a good idea. After six month or so , will the test differ with fresh one ? Thanks.
Yes, we were very lucky to get them in London this year, but the prices were crazy high due to a huge rise in air freight costs. Freezing whole mangoes will not turn out well, but blending the flesh of the mango to a pulp and freezing the pulp turns out very well, much better than tinned mango pulp.
चल झूठे कुछ भी 😂😂😂 Kesar is the king of mango...n dat alphaso vearity is also Frm Valsad Gujarat... origin of alphanso is South Gujarat only not ratnagiri...You have stolen Alphanso Frm Gujarat n named it as Ratnagiri Alphanso. But it's actually belongs to Gujarat only..
My love for mangoes has kind of led me to do a thesis on mangoes...mangoes from India and Pakistan are the best without a doubt. My ranking for mangoes goes like this 1. Alphonso (India). 2. Anwar Ratol (Pakistan). 3. Dasheri (India & Pakistan). 4. Chaunsa (India & Pakistan). 5. Himsagar (India). 6. Lakshmanbhog (India). 7. Safedi (India). 8. Langra (India & Pakistan). 9. Kesar (India). 10. Sindhri (Pakistan)
In Kolkata we mostly get Himsagar and Langra. Some golapkhas and fazli too. Personally I prefer langra to himsagar anyday. And I dont even look at chausa. And if u can get good quality golapkhas, its the best.
@@mr07623445678 thank you for your reply otherwise i was thinking to go tomorrow. I never knew you were selling them this year. I missed it, feel very sad. Now i have to wait for a whole year. Never mind.
@@anjnag6965 - You saved a bit of money as the prices were crazy high this year due to higher air freight costs. Look out for Maya Mangoes from Israel, they are very good and should hopefully start appearing in shops quite soon.

There was a parrot(Rama Chiluka) which used to eat mangoes and throw one or two for me from a tree outside the compound of my quarter at PALASA. I was afraid of the red ants on the mango tree. So, I asked RAMA in the RAMA TEMPLE nearby for mangoes. RAMA CHILUKA ( PARROT ) used to do the job for me. Best wishes Have a wonderful time Thank you for your valuable time #astrology #debilitation #carminaamza Mee too having NEECHA Banga Raja Yog
When Rajiv Gandhi too was assassinated, USSR became Russian Federation to divert the attention of whole of this world. Thank you USSR for your valuable time Best wishes Have a wonderful time
Pakistani mangoes are the best! I live in Pakistan and have a mango tree in my house so whenever I want mangoes I have them at the ready by Allahs will! 🇵🇰
@@talkeshwarbanjare1949 - I once managed to get Pakistani Kesar here in London, it was the first and last that i saw these mangos in London (even though, I ask a lot of mango vendors here in London).
What the man was saying he was going to freeze it and eat all year mate stop chatting if u want to mangos for a hole year that’s mad, he’s definitely Re-selling it
I don't know why Indian mangoes are so damn expensive here in the US. A box sells for $40 and that also unopened. So, you don't know what kind of fruit you are getting.
Here in India we cannot live without Mangoes. Best varieties are Dussehri, Chausa, Langra which cost anywhere between Rs 80-120 ($ 1 - 1.5 ) in India. Alphonso is costly and honestly I don't believe it's the best tasting variety.
Its the Air freight that increase landed cost + local trade margins as its delivered fresh. cannot be stored for long as it loses quality after 2 weeks under chilled condition
