A Deadlock Game So Crazy You Have to See to Believe 

Appreciate any constructive criticism! I’m not trying to say I’m the best yet - and to anyone who has comments, also keep in mind I’m trying to live commentate and remain relatively entertaining. In a game like this that’s HARD so I appreciate any pointers and tips on what I could do differently but I’m still learning the game, I know I make mistakes and I know I have stuff to improve on. I ALWAYS will. And for itemization I don’t know Haze that well enough (or all the items) and just use the more popular public builds - this was one of them! ALSO if you’re pointing out I didn’t shoot patron immediately/as much etc. yes I can go back and dissect how to change it but the main problem was that I had no UI indicator letting me know they were also destroying our Patron so I didn’t even think it was a race. Made it funnier for me and it’s just supposed to be fun. Hope you enjoy the video for entertainment!

The fact that the game can go from "it's so over" to "we're so back" so quickly and so many times throughout the game is part of why I really like it.

If you're curious about the confusing end screens, I'm guessing the overlay for victory/defeat is triggered by the patron death. When the game ends, it isn't paused in any way, so because your team killed their patron _after_ the defeat screen popped up, it then triggered the victory screen without regard for the game already being over.

That's something I like about this game. Having a bad start doesn't mean you are going to do horrible. The first 10 minutes lanes give less souls, jungles are not fully spawning and player kills scale with number of souls. As long as other lanes are doing good you can catch up and win.

I like at the start of the game you and Datto were saying what you needed to do and then continued to not do it. Yeah that's the MOBA experience. Getting good is realizing when you can't fight and finding ways to farm faster than the opponent.

That game swung so much so hard it was like getting whiplash. But the ending did remind me of the wise words of an Ancestor: "Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer."

That build having sharpshooter on Haze is crazy. Her ult is the exact range for the close range item. You never should be fighting so far away with Haze that you benefit from sharpshooter.

I said it on Dattos video and I'll say it on this. I love you both just playing games together. The vibes are perfect!

I've never seen a lane go so bad you're losing base guardians at 6:00, that's insane

I don’t think that anyone is expecting you to be the greatest deadlock player ever Mr. Fruit. I wouldn’t worry too much about your skill in your videos. I played LoL for 6 years and played Dota for 3,000 hours and I never got above what I would consider to be like the Novice level on either game. MOBAs are insane and these videos are mega entertaining and that’s all that matters

I'm not a moba guy and the builds go way over my head, but Fruit is obviously passionate and it's a joy to watch

love watching you play this game, still haven’t played it myself but the energy of these videos is so awesome! I do miss the character introductions at the start of the video but still really awesome!

The biggest way I can tell I am enjoying this content a crazy amount is I can watch you play a round on stream and then turn around and be excited for the video of the same exact round. It's also so dope to see Datto just enjoying stuff as well. Moral of the story, peak.

This game is very refreshing. Maybe there have been other attempts at this and maybe they were successful but nothing ever caught my eye. I have thousands of hours into games that I can tell from the beginning are special and this game feels special. There's so much to learn and fun to be had

9:12 Titanic is virtually required if you aren't running quicksilver bullets, since your reload is the main reason you lose out on kills.

Don’t forget to use slide after your dashes or going down ramps and stairs Mr fruit! Best way to improve your gameplay in deadlock is mastering movement!

5:00 I gotta say the early game with Haze for me is usually harder, then start of midgame I have a small edge, which goes back down, until I get my first 6300 item, at which point I ramp up pretty quick. edit: Haze is dynamic, you can go full roam, laner, teamfight tactical, jungle even, although the most popular I see is the upgrades that do ricochet stuff like the electric one, but I found that only really helps with creeps, and whole team damage starts to mean way less with resistances in the way, so I personally use Primary Focused Burst damage as my strat.

Hey Mr fruit loving the deadlock content so far, one suggestion I'd have for haze in particular is to build a bit more spirit items on her as her mag size scales with it, I'm a big fan of improved reach on the ult to make it bigger, also big fan of point blank on haze as you don't have the greatest range plus the extra stamina is very nice!

Just got into Deadlock & omg Kelvin with max Spirit Beam Hits everyone in a team fight, can be upgraded to refresh ever 4 seconds, and you have a ability to stack slow cards on your freeze.

Definitely enjoying the content you’re making Fruit. Personally I like the multi matches/ longer vids but which ever is easier for you. I also miss what you did for Infernus where you explained each ability rapid fire style just for those of us who don’t know the character or sadly won’t be able to play game because they don’t have gaming pc such as myself. But I love watching that’s for sure lol

Never seen fruit throw so hard but to be fair your patron should have shown its health

its nice to see that Im not the only one hat struggles with laning sometimes. There are games where I get absolutely rolled during lane phase and pop off for team fights

The character design of Haze is perfect, she has sex appeal, style, confidence and skill, and is not afraid to show it, nothing forced or made according to "checkboxes" of diversity ALA concord. her clothing is not even revealing, which further lays gravitas to her presence in a room, or rather unseen presence until she strikes, glimpses of agile movements and curves the last thing most opponents see.

I think you need a new Haze build my friend! Focus on things that buff fire rate, Active Reload early, Quicksilver on Knife, and Unstoppable/Silencer/Mystic Reach/Superior Cooldown all for Ult. Richocet is great too. I'm by no means amazing but I'm 12-1 on that hero so I think I'm solid.

Man what a roller coaster. Thought y'all had it till I noticed your team push their base with 2 enemy lanes at your base. So 2 full lanes worth of creep deep in yout base. Then 2 enemies at your base. Just a classic tunnel vision from the team. Almost paid off tho. Would have been awesome if you went to the replay and compared the health of the two bosses at the very end. Like yall were seconds from winning.

I have 100% never seen that happen what a game... I feel like you can jungle a bit more early game, but I'm still loving the content, learning counters like knockdown, ethereal shift, and metal skin are amazing!.

some tips for playing haze early in the game is you can throw you sleep knife at the enemy and just LEAVE them to sleep by themself while you focus on farming. its pretty broken. ealry game just go for creeps more and ur chillin especially in 2v2s. also if your that low, JUST GO BACK TO BASE, you used the speed boost coming back after dying anyways so just pop it and go back to heal. also headshots go brr when you have headshot booster early. you prolly wouldve killed the bebop a couple times early on if you had it instead of the mag extension

Confirmed fruit is allergic to looking at the map

A few times it was definitely not possible because of their wave and their power, but a lot of the time you want to try to wake up off Haze sleep with a charged punch, its a lot of guaranteed damage and they cant parry during the sleep, only thing to watch out for is teams that know its coming their lane ally may parry it, but if you and your lane partner are both in a position to follow up both of you charge punching to wake up from sleep is optimal

@Mr_Fruit I recommend rushing reactive barrier in lane against bebop! Especially with another cc like warden. So much early value from that item!
