Don't feel sad! Damon comes off to me as introverted in everything but performances. So it's probably just that. He didn't look depressed whatsoever. I'm an introvert and have been asked many a time why it looked like I wasn't having fun. Just because introverts look depressed doesn't mean they are, or that they're not having fun.
@@cpuburnout6616 not rlly it’s just a sip, I’m sure she’s been around people drinking and such that could be way more triggering. Most alcoholics actually are more triggered by experiences or trauma that leads them to want to drink rather than the actual drink itself. Hopefully she’s good though!:)
My favorite part of this video clip is it's title. "a decent interview". It doesn't get your expectations up too high and I really appreciate the fact that the person who uploaded this gave us an accurate description so we could make an educated decision on whether or not this is worth clicking on.

don't think alcoholics consider that a relapse. It's an accident. And part of being a recovering addict is navigating these exact circumstances with your sponsor.
@@marone0324 but the problem with it is, she’s had a taste of alcohol again now. Often that sends people back in to the spiral, even if it is accidental. That’s what being an alcoholic is about, you find it very hard to control once you’ve started.
@@Rupsyy that's a bit of an exaggeration of what it's like to be an addict. ive known quite a few recovered and relapsed addicts and they don't typically point to the taste of the alcohol that makes the relapse, but rather the situations that trigger them wanting alcohol. I'm sure it was jarring for her, but a good recovered addict would document it, acknowledge and contact their sponsor if they felt like it truly made them feel like they wanted to sprial.
It can b kinda demeaning to call an accident like this a relapse, a relapse would be a deterioration of her health because of it, for example recovered alcoholics can still drink alcohol after having a bad time with it. Let’s just hope it didn’t effect her too badly :)
